Just wondering, why do u think the xbox sux?

- Xbox-live will beat the crappy ps3-online scene any day.
- Xbox can be hacked.
- Xbox is cheaper.
- Xbox can play streaming wmvhd from ur harddisk.
- Xbox has more game-titles (and yes i know some titles are only available for the ps3, but the same thing goes for xbox)

I bet ur argument will be: Ps3 has better hardware!
My reply: to bad there aren't any games who use that 'better' hardware.

Only thing i like about the ps3 is the controller. and maybe the looks.

Bad thing about the fact it can be hacked, is that perhaps less exclusives will go to Xbox to sell their game because sales are going down.
You can also stream blue-ray films from the PS3 harddisk and computers harddisk.

Both are GREAT consoles and we should be happy that there is competition so the prices go down and the quality of games and consoles get better!

I doubt that will ever happen.
Microsoft is making mad money on xbox-live, and with the prices they dare to ask for new games, people are bound to hack their console.
Although i did buy pes2009 cuz i really love pes, and i want to make sure pes 2010 is even better

- ps3 online is free and has the majority of same features.
- everything can be hacked, i'm sure if i wanted i could get my ps3 chipped to play fake games
- ps3 has blu-ray built in, put a xbox premium + blu ray = more than ps3 normally
- ps3 can play streaming movies, even blu ray, from pc hard drive
- ps3 has most of the games xbox has too
- ps3 has better components (hardware) -- saying games don't use it is a lie, there are games which use the potential of ps3 hardware, for example, resistance 1 + 2.
- ps3 has better support
- as you said, ps3 looks better
- ps3 wasn't rushed into the market, and thus doesn't have that retarded "ring of death"(full hardware failure) which every xbox 360 will get (microsoft even admitted all xbox's will get it sooner or later)

i recently sold my xbox360/xbox and my ps2 and bought a ps3 a week ago. didnt play on it yet because im to lazy to hook it up.

xillax, you forgot to mention all games for the ps3 are maybe using 50/100 of its hardware. it can handle MUCH better graphics n gameplay then the games out now. shizz dont even know if they have the software to create a game using full graphics available on the ps3. not yet.

Wrong, both XboX and PS3 have made major losses on the production of their consoles. (In the beginning they lost 130 dollar on each xbox)

Xbox and the PS3 have to make money on selling their own games and getting the fees of other game producers that create games on their console system. So IF EVERYONE would have their xbox, its most likely prices will go up and companies wil fall down.

I'd recommend everyone just to buy their games and because I also know people wont do that, I'd recommend; Buy the games you like and play alot

Just put it this way.

Playstation had to copy microsoft with the hardrive. Xbox had a built in hard drive since the first ever xbox. Playstation had to go threw I, II, and III, blueray dvds? Im defently not gonna spend money on movies when I can ask the asian ppl who sell dvds for like 5 dolla. Ps3 has thw wi-fi online play, I give it that, but im sure it laggs out constantly, now for games, xbox had and has better hits then ps3/ps2. Ps2 had grand theft auto games, but sooner or later xbox took em out. Lets name the xbox hits, halo, halo2, halo3, gears of wars, gears of wars 2, fable, fable2, and ps2 has?

ridge racer was made for xbox 360, they just converted it to ps3 so didn't spend any time on specific ps3 stuff, hence why the graphics are way worse.

if we compare best ps3 game to best xbox then ps3 will be better graphics

- The Playstation 3 doesn’t have “more graphics power” than the 360. The fact is, XBOX 360’s Xenos GPU itself has far more computing power than the RSX GPU that resides in the PS3.
Although i must say it is possible that the 360 has already met its full potential, and the PS3 is still getting there...

- PS3’s online functionality is very poor in comparison to XBOX Live. U get what you pay for.

- The PS3 is being outsold by quite a significant margin by the XBOX 360 (4.62 million compared to 2.56 million in 2008 alone, and 9.15 million compared to 3.25 million in the lifetime of the consoles)

But still, both got their good and weak points, just pick whatever u like ofc.
