Hi
Fairplay for CTF/Maps is re-made.
Here is some information:
1. You need BOTH these pk3 files; ctf_update.pk3 & CTFMaps.pk3
2. FP for ctf/maps will have no support/frequent updates, whining at me on msn will not help speed anything up or fix any problems.
3. To see who is using this fairplay, use the normal @check and you will see "GOLD~" in front of there name, people using it in normal wars should be kicked and forced to get normal fairplay.
What you need:
- ctf_update.pk3
- CTFMaps.pk3
- New Fairplay at http://www.sof2-stop.net/?page=downloads&cat=3

Thanks, i already seemed to think my whining towards you wouldnt have any effect.
Its up to the elite players who ive played maps with last week(s) for this to work (playing on maps + it also depends on them to let other people play with it, cause most of the people are sheeps), so say thanks to them. I'm already playing with it!
Devil and Junior, you both should kick players not using it. Nyways thx Ross

just installed and works fine.. for vista users do the same thing ''make a folder to youre deskop, and copy youre demo/mp map and put this gold fairplay in'' enjoy :)

Meh can't find any place where to post this...
So i downloaded the maps FP from avelgem's site, also have the 2 pk3 files but when i launch SoF2 with the fairplay.exe it just starts normal sof2. And when i try to connect to any server using gold maps it just crashes.
And with the red sof2mptest icon /djminfix one it still works...

It works when i use it with that SoF2.exe but when i start it with gold FP the maps still don't work...http://www.team-avelgem.tk/ ---> downloads ---> sof2 tools ---> SoF2MP-Test.exe
replace ur sof2 exe in ur sof folder and start it...
When i start with this modified SOF2.exe the starting window has the "gold edition" right in the first selection screen but with the gold FP it just looks and is the same as normal sof2.
-e- Yeah i checked it's normal Fairplay...the one i downloaded from avelgem site functions as normal FP for me. (When i @check there's no ~GOLD anywhere too.)
So maybe someone can give me some other mirror where to dl maps fp...

it works weird for me, sometimes wrong colors when compared to other goldmaps fp user, maybe older version and for some reason doesn't tell you to get new one, but meh, as long as it works - hf.
