Last year ended in tears because of bug infestation, rotten tops and a completely drained soil that wouldn't take up any water.
So this year i chose some better seeds.
Normally cannabis plants reach their flowering-period (=when the buds are starting to develop) in August, and since the flowering period takes at least 2 months, they will be ready to harvest somewhere in October.
But the problem with October is that u have much less sun, and much more rain, which leads to small buds and top-rot.
The flowering-period is triggered because the plant senses that it gets less sun (sun keeps going down quicker), and knows the winter is coming.
U can force the plant to go into flowering earlier by tricking it, u have to keep your plant in the dark for 12 hours a day, and this way it thinks it is almost winter.
But this year i didn't want to cover them up for 12 hours a day, it is way to much work.
After a couple of years of experimenting, some guys developed a plant that doesn't care how much light it gets, it just goes into flowering-mode after a certain amount of time.
So since i'm starting this week, (beginning of April) the flowering-period will be from half of May until end of July, the perfect time to flower. (atleast in the Netherlands)
Seeds: Snow Ryder
Gender: Feminized (all females, which is what we want)
Amount: 5
2 days ago i planted the seeds in their ''hatching-pots'', the seeds already splitted open, they are almost alive

The next 3 weeks they will grow in this grow-box i made, since the weather isn't all that great yet.

That's it for now, ill update in a week or so, when there is a bit more to see.
