Calling people tasteless for not sharing the same taste in movies as you do is not very constructive and frankly quite arrogant. I know a lot of people who love movies, I for one also love movies, and there are a lot of people who love movies who don't really find asian cinema and anime as gloriously good as you do.
I for one find much of it to be boring and benign, considering I do not really understand the culture as well as they would. But don't get me wrong, I think there is an exception for films such as Oldboy or old kung fu movies, but you're appealing to the wrong class of people, Joey. Plus, posting films from the pre color era is kinda obnoxiously rude as you most likely know we don't know the movies. Not everybody likes black and whites or movies pre-70s. Hell, they even remade Casablanca in color...
Maybe you're doing us a favor by not posting anymore.

The ninth gate is also my favs, I just love movies with a great atmosphere and with mystery in it and if it's combined with Johny Depp and great decors then it's just awesome of course
