As you probably know, this wasn't the most exciting movie when it comes to frags or editing but I think you pulled off a very nice job.
Thing is, I don't even care that much about the kills anymore. After 6 years I think I pretty much have seen it all. Only two kills really stayed with me; the Sylt vs 2 on roof scene and the priest boosting on the enemy scene.
That said, you still were able to create an original movie (and that's what I think is the most important aspect). Good job on the interviews, really liked those. We at Avelgem had the same idea about a year ago but we wanted to take it to the next level; a real life documentary with real interviews hehe. Unfortunately, shit never got recorded...

Good luck with your next movie, be sure to make it as refreshing as this one :]]

well as it is your first movie and you have to learn ALLOT, i will be nice.

you can see fraps lol? ask for some help by people who actually made a good movie before
no banners or anything what so ever

no special effects


my advice, its positive dont get me wrong, ask some skilled moviemakers in our sof2demo community

they are all expierenced movie makers if it comes to sof2demo ''we aint doing it for money just for fun'' im sure they can give you some handy tips to improve your movie

True Juul but I had several problems making the movie

These were mostly old kills I don't have demos for them anymore... only short avis in diffrent formats.I couldn't re-record them that's why u see fraps logo sometimes. I had to resize most of them and put them all in same format so quality sucks idd. Next movie I will make with AdobePremiere, now I can't even installl it because CPU here isn't SSE2 lol

But thanks for constructive critiism I will give it a consideration making my second movie

I just watched it and I'll be so kind to give my opinion on it .

The interviews at the start was a very good idea, I liked that a lot. Very original, funny and strangely enough relevant as well (they were actually talking about some doctor guy and complementing his skills and stuff). I also thought the quality was decent, nothing remarkable. + the Presence of ingame sounds is always good so well done for those things.

However after the intro, I thought things kinda went downhill..
The kills weren't all that memorable, it didn't really flow because of lack of effects.. public chat and unnecessary information (teamscores top right corner and hud) were sort of annoying. No widescreen effects or special aspect ratios made the whole thing look a bit dull.

Overall, I thought it was good for a first movie, u got the basics down and obviously understood that originality is an important concept (interviews).
Yet, a lot could be added to make it an above average sof movie.

I agree with snugg.
Interviews were very original and some funny kills were in it (stab at heli/1shot2kills) and the reactions on last action were ok, but imo ingame sounds shouldv been bit lower at times, same cfg should be used (the action where u killed 5 in was quite annoying tbh).
Most of the kills were rather boring though, but the overall it was a good first movie. (focus on quality, consistency and make sure you remove unnecessary stuff like hud).

Ye as most already mentioned, the quality isn't too good. I liked the frags because it shows your growth, from back when we played together.
And the introduction was the best, lol'd a lot

I think I agree with what most ppl already posted. Both funny and original (the interviews) but the mix of quality (both video/audio) was kinda awful

Conclusion: Nice, funny movie for being your first. Certainly looking forward for your next
