logitch mx518, good mouse or not?

people claimed that it has nice control- better control with full palm then
other mice which tend to be controlled by fingers mostly.. I had hard time
getting used to copperhead because of that, since I don't have really big hands
and I'd rather have smaller mouse easier controlled by whole palm. If not this one
than maybe some other suggestions?

I have it for like 3 years already, just the logo got scratched off, everything works like it was bought yesterday.
I control it mostly with my whole palm, ye. it's impossible to do it differently cause you wouldnt reach the buttons : p
I strongly recommend it, it's a solid mouse with well located buttons and it's comfortable (for my taste). I'd suggest you to go to a shop and check the grip yourself before you buy it

- how much money u wanna spend?
- wireless yes/no?
- how important is the max dpi value for u?
- size of the mouse <-> hands?
< 50 €
- Logitech MX518 Refresh ~ 30€
- Razer Copperhead 2000 dpi ~ 39€
> 50 €
- ROCCAT Kone Gaming Mouse - 3200 dpi ~ 53€
- Razer LACHESIS 4000dpi ~ 50 €
- Logitech G9 Laser Mouse ~ 59€
- Logitech G9x Laser Mouse ~ 69
> 100 €
- Razer Mamba Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse ~ 124€
The MX518 from Logitech is rly good had the first version few years ago!
Actually i use the Roccat Kone so far the best Mouse i ever had
( and i had a few already
- the driver + the configuration is awsome!!!
- u can add weights (5g - 10g - 15g - 20g)
- size, i'm sure it will fit into small hands aswell! but u better test how does it feel at the store!
- max dpi3200 never played with max dpi before but since i got the roccat kone i love to play on such a high dpi value!
- ah ye and dont forget the TCU... the kone is the first mouse that got this shit and its rly great if u change ur mousepad, sometimes i switch from speed to control and just use tcu to configurate it...
"TCU - TRACKING CONTROL UNIT
Every mouse pad is different. There is an awful lot of mouse pads out there for sale. But this variety also has its disadvantages. The laser of standard gaming mice is calibrated to an average for satisfactory results on most mousepads. That’s why the Kone is provided with the Tracking Control Unit. It is the first and only mouse which analyses the mouse pad and calibrates the laser power exactly to the surface. Learn more about the TCU under the point "TCU-Info". "
at the end i just can say its very easy to configure the settings and the price is just awsome...
u should pick 2-3 and google for some reports thats what i always do...
atm i think about buying the razer mamba. very expensiv but i rly wanna test it

Don't have personal expierences with that one because my razer DA is enough for me ;<.
I don't imagine you having smaller hands than me just already because of age so look up for DA also
Go to the store and try out the mouse urself? best option imo.
