I hereby announce that I personally will arrange a LAN tournament for SOF2 demo. Unfortunately my filthy rich grandma passed away and left a large amount of stocks that me and my siblings have inherited. This sudden death of my dear grand mother made me reflect upon my existance and my role in this dimension after deep meditation sessions and spiritual guidance from my councelling shamans, I've decided to yolo a part of the money by throwing a huge SOF2 LAN party. I think it's most convenient to host it in the NL because NL is what saudi arabia is to islam and mecca is the religious center of the world. The SOF mecca is located somewhere around amsterdam and we're working on pinpointing an exact location to host the tournament. Probably some sports centre with good communication links.
Anyways I've talked to experienced SOF2 demo tournament hosters, such as Butcher and luminaire and we have a rough plan and budget for the project. We will need a lot of volonteers because we expect a lot of people to come, so we need security personell, place for accomodation, food and a fair amount of bitches. We will only use the best technical equipment to ensure a fair contest, which I think the contestents will demand because of the high prize.
The format of the tournament will be a 5on5 tournament, randomised groups world cup football style. Also a 1on1 knife tournament will be hosted.
I know we have a lot of american players that will want to join the party as well, so I've decided that I'll PAY for expensive transatlantic flights if it's needed. Of course fairplay will be the main anti cheat software used in the competition so the event wouldn't be complete without flying in the fairplay creator team from OZ. I will also help paying the two seats needed for the brilliant but overweight fp creator. Just send your invoices to me and I'll pay with my amex gold card
I hope your sof dicks are as erect as they can ever be, because mine sure is. If no one believes this (i know, the idea is pretty overwhelming), so I've attached a proof as a screenshot of my bank account. The amount is given in a swedish currency which is roughly 8 sek : 1 usd. More info to come
