Alright, thanks for letting me know that. I'm just letting everyone know that next time they want to play that map just help me beforehand make sure the thing has spawn points so we don't run into trouble last minute.

I actually told katana 2 days prior that I had downloaded the map but that I was falling into infinity when joining the map. He didn't know why it happened. Maybe I should have posted it here instead, so that here someone would point out it was due to spawnpoints and offer the solution.

Ty activee. It was my weirdest match ever, 30 people stuck together without respawns, constant bf every 3 seconds. It was all about taking with you as many as you could. I saw some people run around with firenades like human kamikazi pilots just to get some frags in .

My apologies for the lack of proper settings. I had the timlimit set to 30 and the fraglimit to 0, but with all the map restarts something messed up with default settings of Fragnet. Also, I was not informed by anyone that the map dep1 came without spawn points. Apparently Fragnet (who put the map in) also did not know this...
If anybody wants to help on the spawn points, I will make sure fragnet gets it right.

I promise you next time you can use the server again, and there won't be timelimit or fraglimit bs. In fact, I kept the settings so that next time it will be set.

At least 3rd worked for those who wanted it. I personally am against it, but accept the full players want it.

The first match messed up, I don't consider it to count. But congrats to sKuls/broli for the 30 player victory. At least I got the best frag/death ratio , followed by Jet. All played very well, so GG to everybody involved!!

There are 2 spawn spots for the AK. In all my 10 years, I've never witnessed a free for all 30 player dm server lead to camping around ak spots. There are simply too many players so even if someone camps, they will die too fast. Pickups create a more interesting game, it separates the men from the boys. Anybody can spawn with an AK and a shotty ready, but would they survive if all started from scrap? Again, if someone else spawns at AK at beginning of the round so what? They will be shot at from all sides, a good pistol hs takes care of the problem.

I still strongly suggest we do with pickups, or at least try both, maybe 10 minutes without, 10 minutes with. If it's really about skill, you'd think that the best player will win both of them.

Ah ok. I sort of misunderstood, I thought it was a 1vs1 tournament. In such a contest it doesn't make much sense to disable pickups since then the one that is left alive like I said has 10hp, and 10 bullets... In this case, I still think though that keeping pickups causes a way more dynamic and interesting game. Oh, and if you want to prevent camping, may I suggest the m4? . Lovely anti-camp weapon, especially in my hands hehehe. Anyway, I can make sure only AK and Shotgun are found in the map. Then everyone spawns with pistol and knife, and can grab those to kick ass and chew bubble gum. Btw, in the email I sent you I wrote in the subject title 20 slot server, but I meant 30 slots ofcourse.

It only has shop for as far as I know, but I can ask Fragnet if they can insert the other one. In any case, I'd love it if I could provide you all with my server and contribute personally to the sof community(which I am part of for 10 years straight now ).
