Introduction

"Clanbase" hosted by the HouseOfPain Community is aimed at the remaining few clans left in the Soldier of Fortune 2 community.
Since the demise of Clanbase back in 2013 the Soldier of Fortune 2 community was left without any form of competitive ladder system for the community clans to take part in.

Clanbase was a big part of the Clan Community on Soldier of Fortune 2 and is sadly missed.

The Soldier of Fortune 2 Clan community is vastly limited then when Soldier of Fortune 2 was in it's prime but the community still has active clans out there that play fun scrims daily but are limited to basic features such as forums but no for of ladder system.

HouseOfPain strive to give back to the community in anyway we can and with this we decided to create "Clanbase" for Soldier of Fortune 2 only.
The ladder system is not as in depth as the old Clanbase system but it does allow the features that clans and players need to arrange games.
Once matches are played it allows Clans to submit results and screenshots and other various media such a player demos.
The ladder system then automatically does all of the points on behalf of each time once result are submitted and ranking will ajust accordingly.

Our Vision

Our vision for this project is straight forward and that is to bring the Soldier of Fortune 2 Clan community together again and make the clan scene more competitive again.
We aim to provide clans and players with a fair playing enviroment and exciting matches with teams more their own skill level.
We are able to host cup events on the same system so if the project takes off with a bang we will be able to host the same amazing cup that the orginal clanbase did such as the Spring Cup , Summer Cup , etc..

Ladder System

Fully automated Ladders, Leagues and Tournaments.
Suitable for all types of multiplayer games especially action, card, board and strategy games.
Teams or Individual.
Teams with Divisions for each game.
Teams/Players ranked using complex ranking algorithm for more accurate ranking. (ELO, TrueSkill ...)

Hello Demobase Community,

We are delighted to announce with the arrival of House of Pain to the Soldier of Fortune 2 1.00 Community that we are going to be hosting a competitive team based event for clans and friends to enjoy.
We had great sucess with the previous event that we hosted on Soldier of Fortune 2 Gold that we have decided to do it again and bring some fun back to 1.00.

We would like to send a invitation from our community to yours to see if you would be intrested in taking part in this event for some good old fun.

This is a team based event and unlike our normal server on gold it will be a Normal Damage and 1st person event.

Introduction to House of Pain

House of Pain is a multi-gaming clan & gaming community.
We created this community to provide our members and our community members a safe friendly environment to come and discuss all gaming related topics and to provide them with super-fast gaming servers to play together and make new online friends.
Our site and our servers are monitored at all times with the use of games log files and on hand admins to prevent any of our users experiencing any abusive or unfair behaviour on our site and servers.
We also keep a close eye on our younger members as we all have kids of our own so we like to make sure that they are not exposed to abusive or inappropriate content while spending their time online using our services.

Membership Requirements

House of Pain does not recruit based on age or skill level so this means that our clan and community is open to players of all ages and all skill levels playing on multiple games and multiple platforms.
Every users is treated equally and respectfully at all times by other users and our admin team.
We do have a system allowing our users to help donate money towards keeping our services up and running but this is not a requirement to become a member of our clan & community.

Goals

Our goal is very simple! Create a large multi gaming community based on friendly loyal & trustworthy members. Build the clan & community based on simple principles as helping players improve their game and make them feel welcome at ALL times on our site & server regardless of membership details.
Respect other clans and communities.

We are a Multi Gaming clan & community but we are currently playing in Soldier of Fortune 2 Gold Edition , We have a 20 slot ctf server using the 1fx gold mod.
We run varioys maps some custom some core standard maps. We understand this section is for players of v1 but alot of players do play both versions so if you are looking for a team to be a part of then why not consider joining House of Pain.
