So.. seems ive fixed my driver problems i posted before ( http://www.demobase....showtopic=12802 ) and Idid everything rocket explained in his topic. After doing all that I changed some settings to reduce FPS lag ( see topic http://www.demobase....?showtopic=7302 ).. but somehow after playing for 5 minutes my FPS drops to 9/10 FPS max, even had 2 FPS :/

Does anyone know what this could be?

edit: i didnt use the AA settings or the part rocket was talkin about in step 5 of his nice explenation. any help would be appreciated coz im sick of this lag :@

Edit #2: after i keep on playing and wait.. my fps goes back to normal :/ takes like 5-10 minutes though., but then once again it goes back to 10fps.. so it seems like it keeps switching it somehow.

ill be able to provide u with all system specs and such.. this is just too crazy to play with

Just some system specs that might be usefull:

AMD Phenom Trip-core processor (3CPU's) 2.3Ghz
3gb RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9100 series newest drivers ( 8.17.0011.9562 ) total memory 1392 MB
22inch widescreen LCD monitor (HP w2216)

I play sof at either 1024*768 or 1280* 1024, so not fullscreen.. all my settings are pretty low so im already playing with fked up graphics, which i never had to on my old computer.

Havent tried other games yet, coz sof is basically the only game i play on the pc..

That is what I had, I sent my computer to the repair station today... Let´s hope it comes back better then it was.


I wont be able to play for 2-3 weeks now, but I´ll survive.

same here.. no such thing as bad isp's in holland.. 25mb cable connection should be pretty much good enough

try system restoring to a state where it wasn't causing you any lag..mb that'll help

Try to check for ur computer temperature when you "played" sof, download some program for it or whatever.. also the voltages etc to see if they're correct, could be ur powersupply

youre using newest drivers now right?
and you didnt have any fps lag with older drivers?

ive cleaned my computer, no screenshot or anything anymore.. ive done all that before.. wont help.
