A : No, im playing it for 7 years already and its fuckin awesome. I know here every spot that i can camp at, I'm just playing only one map because im afraid that i will suck at other maps.
B : Yes, sometimes it can be boring to play same shit that long. How about introducing at least 1 new map to official? Lets choose one another map except shop to play regular wars at.

I actually think this guy can go somewhere with this idea,
Imagine having a set of news every monday on the demobase forum front page. Saying the following "New Map Mp_shop69"
With this we would have like 3-4 screenshots of the map those who want to download it for the new fp which will allowed maps again.
The news will be breifly explained with how the map is done and if there is any bugs how to prevent it. After the map is used maybe do 2-3 wars to test out the map if its worth calling wars for.
Then you can see a lot of ppl doing this making infiltration + maps + sof more active?

no offense ismail, it would be easier for someone who has a good reputation a good pace to do things.
i mean believe it or not, this community runs on monkey see monkey do. We see a good player do something and we attempt to do it.
2 examples would be
Small jump?
and obviously fairplay.

No, new maps every weeks/months is too much for a community that plays one map such a long time
I thought about, just one additional map as far. And lets give it a time, for people that doesnt know (this map - we can vote which one it will be) we could describe it carefully giving a lot of details informations + attaching screens, what can you do on it. Or what are the good ways to deliever case. We could show a basic tactics for ppl which will not like that idea at first... So there won't be any disadvantages for people that already used to play it on for example SOF2 GOLD EDITION.
From the maps i would like to see shop2/hk1/dep1 (smallest and easiest i think, like mp_shop) , or jor1 if fairplay could allow to take fog off.

well i think this community itself works on a fast pace. very few started using fairplay and now atleast 70% of us use it in matter of small time.
ofcourse there is rebels who like to be a failure on independent but still. maybe 1 map every 2 weeks?

......
give it a 90209th shot and gl with succeeding.
the idea is good though, but wont work.
we cant force people to play other maps, it's not like other games where you just put up a map and everyones forced to dl an 'update' ;x

cause they fail. but i know what some smart ppl are gonna say. IF YOU WANNA PLAY MAPS GO PLAY GOLD.
as usual, people are lazy unless theres a good leader to make the first step. why doesn't everyone want change?
the change is right on ur faces, to play gold edition. but no we are lazy to do anything. so thats why im saying if your to lazy to go play gold, why not download something that takes 2mins and play it.

Don't like gold really. As much as I've heard, it's pretty much dead also?
It is kind of new game for us and people over here aren't really fan of adjusting to new things (weapons, maps, movement, recoil, etc)
If we really wanted to play goldmaps so badly we would be doing it for years already with ctf_update etc.

ok but as i said theres ppl who say that tho, want maps? play gold noobs.
im just saying dont you agree ppl a re just to judgemental? like they see a no namer trying to make a change so they dont even listen or do what that guy says.
but i mean everyone is like that. If we are so concieted with popularity why not give someone a chance who is practically known here?
good example would be C1 comes out of nowhere and just flames the kid? like why?
