I never said this rule should be used in this nationscup, I think it should be implanted in the future nationcups tho.
By some of the negative responds in this topic I can read most of you don't understand this rule, or the use of this rule.
First of all its not so easy to bypass at all, nation captains have to know the history of their team members. You can't just kick some of your players from your clans just in front of the nationscup because you will have to sign up your clan for different cups while the nationcup is running, which means you won't be able to registrate your entire team.
Rules like this are not NOOB rules, dumb rules or strange rules. They have a purpose. For example:
Overall a clan that fields a team are FRIENDS, or you've just played together for a long time. In other words, if you want to get into a team such as NL or BE, which are basicly just clans. Its almost impossible to get to play in those teams while your better than some players might be. You wont even get a chance. The discussion about azzy could be an example of this.
In most cases nationteams don't bring the best players of the nation as some of you want it to, they bring clanmembers because they are well known to eachother.
Katana: With 3 players, the rule means you can FIELD 3 players of 1 clan in a MATCH. Its possible to add 6 members of 1 clan to your nationteam, they are just not all allowed to play together in 1 single match.
