I won nearly 500 euros with poker. If you calculate all the amount of wons I have had. But where is the fun in it? I mean, Inter poker is just totally waste of time. It takes hours before 1 tournament actually finishes. Useless. I always lose the interest in the game. I played myself table games or w/e you call them. Where you have small n big blinds. Way better. 3/5 euros. But I also have lost as much as I won. I just cant be arsed to play some cent games where it takes forever lol. I agree with RENZO on this.
Besides, poker has a lot to do with luck also. Stop saying always about skill n stuff. Yes, there is some sort of amount of skill included, but if you are lucky enough you can beat every combination. If I watched those big tournaments in TV, then I could only laugh on some guys there who actually are really good, but I swear to god, I would of had outplayed them there. No need to read tons of books nor learn from other players. Own way of playing is still the best way for victory.
It's not about what cards you get, but how you play your hand. You can win with every single hand if you know how to play it at the right time. Well if you wanna know my opinion NL2 and NL10 are pretty boring, unless you're playing like 8 moneytables at one time. Then you can actually make some nice profit, but it's USELESS to just play 1-2 tables. It's pure waste of time, even if you win, you won't build up much. That's why I'm mostly playing SnGs.
Tournament takes much time? Dude, in online ~7000 player tournament is usually played in 4-5-6 hours. Depends how tight it gets in the end, but in live play it takes about a week.
Online poker is way-way faster than the live one. Also the plus is that you can play as many tables once as you can follow.

if u buy in for like 10$ and u stay in for 6 hours u have at least like 3K ish prize money already

im not trying to brag here or anything dio, but if u win money, then u have to play few hours in a row, but if u do nt get money, you finished soon out of the tourney,
so IF u play 6 hours in one tourney, you are DEFINATELY in the money.

Atleast my bankroll ain't so good yet to play in those tournaments.
That's why 90% of the players lose their money. They put 10$ in and go to some 10$ table right away. You may win in shortterm, but 1 tricky hand and all your money is gone. Most of people do that mistake. They think that poker is a really fast way to make money. Yes it is, but you also have to be good. It's a marathone, not a sprint. That's why you need a good bankroll management.

Ye indeed, the current WSOP has 36 episodes of 40 minutes
which makes like 27 hours of tv
but was played over 2 weeks
so lol
+ if they actually air it on tv, it will prolly only air the last 4 eps, and not the early rounds before the big money
so ull see 4 hours about 4 weeks of poker, ofc ur view is disoriented

I was top 300 today in a 150$ freeroll with 7500 people participating, I was kinda pissed the way I got booted how;
I went all in AA preflop because my stack was kinda small (9k while average was 14k but I had been afk for an hour so I lost a lot of my chips) and a guy with 65k calls me with a 10/4 OFFSUIT and this guy gets a fucking 10/4 on the flop, giving him TWO pairs, almost won it by flushdraw too.. but I'm not lucky enough. < MOST BS WAY TO GET BOOTED OUT OF A TOURNY, big stack or not, WHO THE FUCK CALLS ALL IN WITH 10 4 OFFSUIT? LOL..
