I hate AAs, even tho it's best possible hand preflop, flop always turns out TOTALLY retarded.
Also since you already have 2 aces, the chances for another one are quite low, even more if someone else has ace(s).
Personally, i say YES to this post, i agree, i always get double triplled fuckd over with Aces either some guy calls with Kings and hits a set or some noob with KJ offsuit FLOPS a straight
or some other noob hits 2 pair
Mathematically, "2 aces, the chances for another one are quite low, even more if someone else has ace(s)." NO, well YES buttt, the chances are NOT lower then when you have 55, 66 or + instead they are HIGHER that you win the hand with AA then 55 (OFCOURSE DUHHH) and since 99+ is the 10th best hand in poker preflop (in top 10 not exactly Tenth best) AA is ofcourse the best.
WHAT I MEAN HERE:
You will hit a set on average 1 out of 18 times, weather it is AA or 22 preflop, only 1 in 18 times (if no luck where to be involved) u will get three of a kind. Unless someone else has an A then ur chances will be lower to hit a set OFCOURSE DUH, BUT then you have a huge advantage imagine, You got AA, ofcourse you make a standard 4x BB bet, (unless youor shortstacked) (IF ITS NOT A FREEROLL BUT REAL MONEY) people with 10 4 offsuite etc, will fold, imagine someone has A Q and A K, and they both call, (which is probably not a horrible play just calling here, even though they have position on you assuming they act behind you.) but for the sake of argument, they just call, flop comes Q 10 6 rainbow, AQ hits his Queen, and has TpTk, = good enough to shove all in with on this flop, AK got a gutshot straight draw and 2 overcards, which means vs Q J he has like 40+% of winning, so he might just call a big raise even though he didnt hit anything, and u have the real TpTk, which they can impossibly know, since u didnt make a HUGE OBVIOUS BET preflop, so your first to act, u bet 2/3th of the pot, in this case being about 8-9 BB's, AQ can already see the victory and shove, AK feelin lucky hopin for a draw figuring against a Qx he isnt in horrible shape and he can outdraw here, you get a massive pot, and easy victory, and mathematically speaking, this will happen more, ,then not, meaning it is profitable...
BUT selective memory, we remember things that hurt us more then things that make us happy, its just human nature, so we got the impression that we "ALWAYS" lose with AA, while actually we win alot more then we lose with em... (mathematically, and assuming you played the hand the right, correct and justificational way, not like some donk, oooh AA ill raise 10x as much as my normal raise hahahhaha ahaha -,-)
i know too long a post lol cba to read myself id say haha
off to bed pz

anyways, even though I'm not a pokerwhore like fastcolt, that's what I do the most also, betting small to check what others do
but in this situation, fastcolt > me, listening to him is like asking a crackjunk how to use crack, u can trust it

It's 1/24 to hit a set on flop.

i mean 1/18 in total, not just on flop.

What? Cards which other players have also count... because you don't know if he has K or T in his hands.chances are never the same since there's 20 cards dealt.
So you have to always count all the cards you've not seen.

u rock a nice A/K other dude rocks the KK
chances of hitting the K?
now
U rock A/K , other dude rocks the KK, u raise ur A/K , KK goes all in... after all this 2 people on the table holding K/10 and K/4 fold
chances of hitting the king?
so according to your logic u still have as much chance to hit the K as the dude has with the A?
Best player in the game.

let me give you an example

chances of hitting the K?

That's the difference. In your example you KNOW what cards other players have. If you only know your own cards then you calculate it using only those (also the cards on the table). That's called odds.

has nothing to do with knowing cards, every hand has different mathematical stats thats why every hand is played different.
Yes there is. Go read about odds.
If you don't know what cards your opponent has then how come you can tell if you hit it or not?
If you have AK, opponent has KK and another guy has KQ then your possibility of hitting K is 0. (That's when you see/know their cards).
When you only see your own AK and have no idea what other players have your chances of hitting the K is 1/17.
Because there are 52 cards in deck. You've seen 2 of them. There's 50 left. Let's say you want to hit a K. There are 3 other Kings in the deck. That means 3 cards will help you. 50-3=47. 3 cards help, 47 doesn't. 3/47 = 1/15,6 ~ 1/16

don't tell me to read anything, your last 2 sentences made me stomp my head.
Keep playing with that logic if you like.
That's the logic pros and most of other players use.
Odds & Pot odds are all about poker.
So tell me how do you play then?

I left pot odds out for a reason.
RED = ODDS
GREEN = OUTS
If you have AK and you want to know what's the chance of hitting K = ODDS.
OUTS = Every other A and K which are in deck or other card which might save you.
If you have QQ and opponent has AA in HU. Table is TJA2?.
What are your outs? Answer: KKKK. Only one of those cards will help you to win the pot.
Now what are the ODDS hitting a K?
52 cards in deck. You've seen 4 on table and 2 in your hand. That's 6. 52-6=46 cards left. Somewhere there are 4 kings.
That means 4 cards from those 46 cards will help you. 4/42 = 1/10,5 = 1/11 is your chance of hitting K on the river.
So you're talking about something else here. Go read about odds & pot odds. Thxbai.

You can also make them to %. Also I left pot odds out, didn't need a reason to bring it in.

dont u know what hands are good and which are not, preflop?
i mean if you have 2 7 off im not gonna go calculate crazy
the way your reasoning in the previous post
your saying AK has the same chance of winning as 2 7 offsuit
thats why your wrong. nowkkthxbai, this is not a competition to show who plays best poker lol

Where do you see me telling that 27 has same chance as AK? Why are you even talking about that? I was talking about a chance of hitting a certain card.
