@fs busts wh, just make it ew times a game, ab is harder to bust. That's why I think it's important when there's a suspicion that admin fraps the playe + any conflict situation between the teams.

and hacking with fp is only possible if u put in sv_cheats 1 or smth or have i missed smth

yes, you need to reconnect or vid_restart, both of which are not allowed & not needed in full.. therefor if someone does it and his fp is off -> kick and force him to get fp again

Also, I proved before that you can wallhack even when FP is on.

yes, 2 months ago... try doing that again max and see if it works...

well tbh, theres no reason to vid or reconnect in 1.00(u dont get random KB like you do in demo) hence even if ur fp crashes ur simply not going to recon or vid_rs to randomly load hacks..tho i think it would be good idea that evreytime someone reocnnects/vid_rs, admin checks for FP.

funny you dont have to worry about things so much in demo.

and max, most of ppl are jst average gamers, since u do some coding n whatnot its obviously easier for you to figure out bypasses.
and afaik the last bypass or w.e got fixed, and if u got anythin else jst contact shifty/xillax?!?! o,o0

You don't have to restart to enable hacks after FP crashed. You can simply enable developer, r_shownormals, r_lightmap, r_thirdpersonrange and so on.

everything can be hacked; fp is better than nothing tho.
most of people wont be able to do so; however if this happens, it will come out public sooner or later. besides @fs can catch most of the noobs(and i can already imagine u talking about ss blocker...y0y0y0)

and this is also why 99% of the games have replay option(demos, whatever). too bad u guys are playing a broken game ;S

You should be aware that after FP crashes, one can easily enable cheats and not be caught by screenshots anymore. That's what I wanted to point out, and you could take it into account when making rules for the cup. Perhaps we could still link RPM and FP, so that RPM will auto-kick within 10 seconds after FP "crashed". This way, there is no need for admins and players to constantly check the FP list.

Guys work together a bit more. We all want this cup to happen. I think when max says that FP is hackable, he doesn't mean that FP sucks or is easy to hack. I think he means that if he can hack it, the someone else might be able too, and therefore there should be taken actions (and yes there are not a lot of good coders, but even if there is one, it should be a reason enough).

Just try to read posts in a neutral/positive way and let's make up the rules and shit for this cup as soon as possible. Or else people will end up in situations, where I ended up also in the past with others arguing with each other for ages

It's easily possible, we've done the same with MT in the past. This would also fix the fake FP exploit (by using aaaaaa).

Sure, I'll contact Jaron this weekend for the RPM + FP communication. I can already start working on it! And I can add some cvar for disabling the "Hey Admin" feature.

I wonder how you could call the links "hidden" when no effort has been done to hide them. You seriously need to do something to prevent that exploit. The RPM + FP communication would fix it, which we will hopefully implement!
