well said frog! killing the game. people stop playing cuz of these pranks. we have become so obsessed with cheating that basicly nothing is allowed anymore. we want it cheat free, we want it flame free we dont want to wait anymore. this are the basics for a dictatorship. And the admins here arent helping either, they just tell you to piss of when you contradict them. they dont want to make demobase and sof more friendly nor better. its time that some people realise what they have been up to lately.

More cups are played now then before, though number of players is decreasing. Is this killing of the game?
Besides guys like butcher(no offense Mathieu!) stopped laming, crashing servers, not sending demos - cause they won't play in
cupwars; so don't whine about useless rules, because in fact people started to treat giving sending more serious
maybe it's not a drastic change, but an improvement.

you have a point that it could be like in court from 1-4 months for this for example
but they way it is now it ensures that everyone is treated the same (unlike courts)
which is more fair? Hard to say tbh, but I rather have system with same penalty for everyone;

Yes but for example if you wallhEx the punishment is already way higher. A penalty like this is way lower and even then there is difference with a cup scrim and mixwar, if they got raped, if the player has more pentaltys on his name etc.

So even if there is friendpolitics involved he still gets a harsh penalty for like wallhacking. The minimal.

That line is crucial for this discussion. So you are saying that if a clan gets raped badly it can 'cheat', even if it's the lowest violation? There it goes wrong for some thinkings from you: just behave yourself even if you lose.

If you guys agree with Roma that you can do something like this fine, but don't do it in a serious war, or else appoint it before the war if both clans agree to not post this on Demobase.

Well i'm saying he can do it one time in a war out of frustration. If he basicly is doing low violations the whole war its a way higher punishment.

For instance i did some barrel glitches on accident in the past. (Ask rexel haha:P) If he busted me for that shit it wouldve been SOOOO LAME. In cases like that, and cases like this. Id say admins could even hand out a out-of-ban-free card (green card) or a low lvl punishment. Even when handing out cards like that, it gets on ur name. So if you make other violations in the future you can get a guarantee ban.

With violations like wallhEXing n stuff it would be 100% ban.

Shit like this? Cmon, grow up. We almost all adults. Everyone should behave. But this? Cmon, childsplay, and its just retarded. Wake up, wb on earth.

If you try to accept these violations, it goes even from bad to worse about 'killing the game', you know why? People will misuse it then, example:

'Avelgem won already from sK. Now someone in sK. thinks; hmm wait a minute, we lost bah! Ah fuck it, I'll wallhack for 4 rounds, who cares? Avelgem won already and goes to the next round.'

You want this stuff? Now you think maybe what a noob example I come with, but believe me, noobs will always come with these excuses:

A criminal stealing a ring gets a lower punishment then a criminal stealing a car.
They look at the situation of the criminal and base his punishment for the penalty he did.

Even if he wallhEx for 1 second he gets an instant ban. If he m60 scoped for instance, and he got raped badly, maybe a green card. If he m60 scoped twice!? He did the violation with a big state of consciousness therefor he gets a ban. If he m60 scopes in a regular war, winning, he gets a punishment.

This is how court goes dude. Ive been there plenty of times LoL blieve me. I did some heavy shit as kid, my first violation i stole 20 car radio's. But I was a kid, it was my first violation, i was drunk, i had a hard time @ home. Therefor i did a shitty punishment, i cleaned a granny home for 2 days.

Its handin out punishments looking at the situation.
Murder (wh, ab) is a hard punishment no matter wut < but even then id ask myself before handin out the punishment.
Is it a new player? How old is he? (some kids want badly so they start hEXing) Is it his first violation?
