some things,

The usersaccount management of useraccount control: They whined allot about it at vista cuz the secure feature of the user while installing or changing of the window's institutions was bothered with pop-ups.

performance; as you might have heard from allot of fokes, vista is slow!.Even though the system requirements of windows 7 are identical to those of vista but microsoft claims the performance is better. one of the things that is better is the efficienty of the use of OS when its about multicore processors. the cpu could be released of several jobs by splitting them up to the gpu. when you put the pc to sleep it restores faster, but vista allready fixed it with a service pack or so hehe

i would also say its more friendly as you can do allmost anything on the taskbar. i used to be addicted to my desktop as i allways refered to that. today the day i've got w7, i hardly see my desktop. its a shame cuz i have a really nice background. yes you have to addept to the useage of w7, but it'll take about 1,5 week to get allong with it. Its new, its fun so fuck yeah do it

Also new is the support directX11 but you need high graphic card. improved mediacentrum.

I'm just giving my opinion Luigiz, but personally I like Vista more still. I don't know if it runs smoother, if they all say it here like Toxic, then he probably knows it better.

But the whole interface just doesn't fit me. There are new features which are nice but personally I'm used to Vista, maybe that's it. But that is mostly also the case when new people are buying computers with OS. I mean, if you buy a computer, it's all nice that it works good and it's trustable etc, but you want to work fast on it also.

For example the taskbar under is so annoying, if you go with your mouse-cursor over it, a new window pops up. That's also in Vista, but if you go over the window, you also see this new window on your monitor (which overwrites your previous monitor-view). Really really annoying for me. But maybe it's a fact of getting used to it.

So what is recommendable? Both! Just what you like more, there is not so many difference in games if you ask me, could be wrong (tried it on both), but didn't see it on the FPS or other details.

Sorry but I have to disagree with you since not all of what you said is precise.

now to scat, If you really think believe or seem to believe windows 7 is not faster than vista you should atleast give it a try man...there's no harm in it. Use the third way I mentioned and you will still be able to use vista and windows 7, if you are not impressed with the new windows 7 then you can get rid it it then add the hard drive spaced used for windows 7 back to windows vista. If i had my windows 7 right here with me I'd have gone over some of the most interesting things but ill just give you this link so you can see for your self

and windows 7 is much faster, MUCH FASTER than vista. NO its not an opinion I have a laptop and a desktop my laptop was so slow even after reinstalling the vista os and running it fresh and new. After I installed windows 7 it was way faster. An example could be sof2 opening in 2 seconds instead of 10 seconds another one is the boot up time. The bootup time is what matters to me tbh. Windows 7 loads up much faster than windows vista. About 15-30 seconds. Just saying because some people, even my rl friends have opinions that really dont have a backbone
