Tbh faking is faking, whether it's in public or not. However you can't of course ban someone for having someone's name for like 5 mins but I mean.. if you use someone's CFG how hard is it to open console and /set name XXXXXXXXXX ? Takes less than a minute.

But I can see why you're confused, perhaps it's time to further clarify this rule?

when in public it is considered faking after 5 mins of active play (AFK is the exception)
when in wars/mixes it is considered faking when the war started whether your afk or not

edit: joey it actually does state what faking is: as soon as the person being faked complains about it, it is. and in a cupwar it ALWAYS is.

if you exec the cfg while your in the server? doesnt matter if names are similar and its not faking if you both use the same fake names

the way it is now its completely up 2 the community 2 decide if some1 is faking or not based off their opinion of the person you need specific rules so theres no bias

if you have the options out with the name part and you do /exec it doesnt change the name but still its easy 2 forget 2 do so and some1 could TECHNICALLY get punished for it

maybe the rules for faking in public/mixwar should be punished like m60 scope or something instead of like wh?

forgetting 2 record is a lot different then forgetting 2 bring your name up b4 execing a cfg all you would need 2 do 2 fix this is specify in rules something similar 2 what i posted earlier
