Brazil's goal was not because of miscommunication, it was because of terrible defending and bad placement of their players. And to be completely honest, it was because of an outstanding pass + run by Robinho. Had nothing to do with communication. This game went to the team that wanted it the most, since Brazil had it covered first half, where NL had it 2nd half...

I think u can discuss this game for hours, all that matters is NL won. And as a Belgian I guess I'm happy that I still have a team to support in a way. Too bad not many dutch people would do the same for Belgium.

I think alot of dutch people would like to see belgium do well, all people I know for example hope this WC will have a full european final. Shame Belgium sometimes does good against stronger opponents but after that messing it up completely against tiny soccer countries. ;s

It was a tense game and i don't see why some people think it wasn't deserved if you even watched the game after the dutch scored we dominated the match and as you can see all brazilians can not take a loss as they tackled eveything in sight. In the beginning they knew what to do they tackled Robben 4 times in the first 20 minutes and Muse you are blaming Van Bommel for reacting to a kick they was meant to hit him? I say wow to that if you are trying to kick him you shouldn't whine even though you slighty touch him.

It's a shame that Melo got this red card, it seemed that he first kicked Robben then thought about his action and regretted it.

NED played way way better than Brazil the second half and during the first half Brazil didn't even get that many decent chances.. sure it wasn't good football, but to say we "just won" is just stupid. We deserved to win this match, Brazil was the one who got pretty much lucky.. they should've gotten loads more cards.

And to all of you saying we got lucky because of an own-goal.. watch it again.. Sneijder's shot was well on target and even if Melo hadn't hit the ball as slightly as he did, it would've still been a goal.

Indeed Shifty, except for the first goal that was Brazil's only well played attack. Kaka's shot would've gone in if it wasn't for Stekelenburg who definitely pulled a nice save there.
