Like the idea, it could work.
But will everyone play? You say 1 team chooses every time which player he will go against? If Abu is in the opposite team everyone will ofcourse pick abu.. You get my drift yes

hahhahah

It's completely irrelevant, Snugg. I see no relevance in a 1v1 with 5v5, only that it's the same game played. It's in my opinion completely unnecessary. It's not logical at all to end a match like that, to prove the best in a 5v5 match you'll just have to play 5v5 till end. till 5 rounds after that. I don't see why people wouldn't play this, 'tired' / no focus? Cry some more.

BTW, Snugg's suggestion is UNNEEDED. 2x5!!!!!

Noob I didn't put you in because otherwise my example wouldn't be right.. seeing as you would own them all at once even if it was 1on1.

just your opinion malign! Let cupadmins decide. If they want something fresh, fairer, exciting and something that tests all aspects of a team in case of a tie, not just the teamwork but also the players in it, then they will choose snugg's 1on1 as a method to decide.

@Joey: maybe instead of using it in important cupwars, we can use it as an extension for ordinary clanwars if both sides agree to use it.

Are you stupid? What if someone comes to play cupwar but only has time to play one match. Then leaves for second match. So just play it 4v5?

no, arc 1vs1 is uber booring - better camper/glitcher wins.

I agree, we have dealt with the rematches fine, just re-arrange the new match and we're done.

Well if a cupwar ends in 15-15, isn't it kinda obvious that teamwork of both sides is equal. Therefore, this method relies more on the individual differences in two clans to decide who wins. Let's just give this method a name like Snugg's Penalties or something and make it available to future cupadmins. They will have to choose between the regular extension war or Snugg's Penalties as a decision rule in knockout stages.

Why this is fail:

Some teams are formed with players who are not 1on1 players. Meaning every clan doesn't own 5 good all-around players. That's why each player has a specific spot during a clan war.
This would just show who's better 1on1 skillwise which quite frankly shows shit about their 5on5 skills.
Fact is that this will give a clear advantage to clans who base their gameplay on glitching/whoring/being lame overall. And clans with ACTUAL teamwork will lose.

Shitty idea, imho.

A rematch just shows which clan can hold the grip longer and is better overall.
Looking how |she| got raped in their rematch i'd say that sK. won pretty fair and square.
While some 1on1 glitch/luck/faggotry system would maybe have granted |she| the win (though i doubt as their only solid 1on1 player was Zioni that match imho).

And yea i repeat.
This system sounds gay.

What next? Maybe lets decide the winner with a fucking RPG war? Knives main? Noscopes on roof? FUck this.

Interesting that after 4 pages no one mentioned this flaw:

you can sit behind a corner and your team will use the third view to tell you when to pop up with shotgun and win.

True, but in a war the circumstances are never the same from round to round(health issues, time issues, ammo issues, the case could be far away in a bad spot, etc).
