what is this bandwagon shit ur talking about? I've been a diehard celtics fan since BEFORE antoine walker when we had walter McCarty and nobody. I'm talking like eight years before you ever baked a cake and wrote "3v Pwnz" on it. I still want the celtics to win, i still think we have a damn good chance of winning, but i'm realistic enough to see that when you assemble the best two guards and the best bigman (besides howard) in the league ALL ON ONE TEAM then they're fucking favorites.

And defqon, jesus fuck quit getting ur information from doctor funk. The kid lives in poland you truly trust his information, he says that the heat have no supporting cast and you believe it. They signed Carlos arroyo & mario chalmers, two point guards that will help the team more than the 14 yr veteran fisher. Oh plus mike miller, juwan howard, joel anthony (who can block shots better than theo these days) and their 7 footer Z.

you keep talking about the importance of the lakers two seven footers and how well they'll be able to defend the heat, but that only takes bosh out of the equation. You still have two superstars on the court who are able to explode for 50+ on any given night, and artest can only take one, don't even kid urself by saying that kobe can cover lebron even when he was in his prime

joel anthony, juwan howard + Z are the shits compared to ANY big man in the league. Chalmers imo is not fast at all hes shit and slow which makes it easier on derek fisher and steve blake.

two 7 footers is a big deal as it has been for EVERY nba team they have played so how can you count that out? and im not getting my shit from dfunk i said i agree with him and dont give me shit about bosh. all they broadcast is toronto games here and he isnt that tough.

i never said anything about kobe covering lebron lmfao. i said kobe on wade. artest on lebron and bosh covered by two 7 footers. they got nothing else besides those 3 and mike miller. with the addition of barnes lebron wont be getting many open looks. and you can take ever scoring 50 out of the picture as they will never do that. and 50+ is a huge overstatement rofl.

Yeah ofc, but when I see that the lakers aren't a really good TEAM, and the Miami Heat have more ability to play as a TEAM with their class of players, I know they will win it. And believe me, Kobe sees this Big 3 shit as a battle between HIM and the Big 3; that's why the 3 vs 1 and not the 5 vs 5.. x

you mentally retarded kid? arent a really good team? thats why they have won 2 straight? Kobe sees big 3 shit as a battle? you live with him? he could care less about wtf they doing. He wants another ring thats all he cares about.

yeah purified ur right dwade and lebron aren't able to explode on any given night when they're teammates are gettin shutdown. Dwade has 24 fourty point games in his career and lebron has eight fifty point games. Even when gaurded by Artest, whos aging quick, lebron never gets taken out of the picture entirely (exclusion: Boston game 3?)

chalmers doesn't need to be fast he can shoot the 3 as good as fisher now a days, plus hes very unselfish which is a great fit for miami. Besides arroyo is a speedy little fuck he'd cause trouble for steve blake and frankly not one of the lakers gaurds (apart from shannon possibly) would be able to stay in front of him

Ok so once they pass primary defense then comes the two 7 footers changing and blocking shots. Lakers are the team that has almost every piece of a complete team besides a great bench although it has improved with barnes.

Your arguements don't prove that Miami are the favorite but more so towards being evenly matched thus making lakers favorite as they have won the last two of their three finals

Man you are retarded... You think the big 3 all of a sudden doesn't care about scoring points anymore? They'll all be thinking about scoring and will never be able to play as a team. They are all young and stupid and that's why they fucking joined each other. Team USA lost to Greece cause they all wanted to score and couldn't play as a team.

Dude, LeBron, D-Wade and Bosh know that they have to play as a team if they want to win a championship ring.. when you see they have UD en Mike Miller in addition it's a good team. Personally idc about the bench. LeBron and D-Wade ánd Bosh all have experience with playing like 40 or more minutes a game. We'll see what the future brings the NBA, I think it's over for the next couple of years, Heat domination baby!

you mentally retarded kid? arent a really good team? thats why they have won 2 straight? Kobe sees big 3 shit as a battle? you live with him? he could care less about wtf they doing. He wants another ring thats all he cares about.

lol why u callin' me kid no need for that.. anyway, believe me Kobe cares. Don't come with these fake arguments like 'do you live with him?', no I don't neither do you =). The Lakers already lost from the Cavs, who let's be honest also weren't a very good team.. LeBron cleary stood out. So now 3 big players joined together with some medium players around them, that clearly will be enough to bring home a championship back to MIA.

im not sure when ur talkin about, but last season the cavaliers were the best team in the NBA during the regular season, they had the deepest bench too. Nobody besides lebron? they added antoine jamison last year and had a solid team down the line. You clearly don't know what ur talkin about, but its expected ur european stick to soccer.

no matter how badly u wish it wasn't true def, the miami heat are the favorites. Twice as likely as the lakers according to most experts

Note: I really think it is to early to tell since their is still lots of time to make trades, and you can never predict for sure. Boston, everyone was thinking they are getting old, blabla, but they made it to the NBA finals.

That's the beauty of predicting
anyway having Arroyo is a good move, always felt he was underrated.
With addition of Barnes, LAL will have Barnes/Artest on Lebron, Vujacic/Bryant/Brown(?) on Wade,
doesn't look that bad defensively. Will be fun to watch LAL vs MIA this season can't wait till they match up.

You say i don't know what i'm talking about but still you have the same opinion as me? be fair, Cavs = LeBron, you'll see this year, they aren't even contendors for the title so I don't call that a good team. In last year playoffs, LeBron delivered as usual but his 'teammates' didn't so I don't call that a deep bench.. Magic & LAL have way more better bench guys, that's also the reason why i.e. Cavaliers wanted to sign Lamar Odom..

Heat will win this year, and upcoming years..

It also makes no sense to me, that when I'm from the EU, i don't know anything about bbal.. -__-"

Barnes/Artest ain't got nothing on LeBron.. not a bad defense but not the high quality u need to defend players like LeBron, Gasol will own Bosh I'll give u that one, Bryant not really good defense but his offense always delivers. Sure it's gonna be a great match. almost sure they will meet at Christmas : )

If you talk about high quality defenders they don't get much better than that, maybe I'd take Shane Battier over them but nobody else is clearly
better. Bryant was all-nba 1st defensive so he can't be that bad :P
Plus if you watched the Boston Cavs this year, you'd see both Lebron and Cavs got outplayed.
Can't say LeBron played bad, but he was limited and played below his level from both
season and series against the bulls.

I like Tayshaun Prince over both Battier and Artest =) Was only meaning to say that Bryant's offense is better that his defensive skills, still like him as a complete player =) LeBron was Boston ready, but for instance a player like Mo Williams, good in the regular season, can't perform in the Post Season for some reason.. Only when the game is played, like the first Game on the road vs Bulls. LeBron was Cavs, now Cavs have a really big problem..

essien you keep proving my point even more, you obviously have no clue what the fuck ur talking about. Lebron got SHUT THE FUCK DOWN in two games in the Boston series, he was no where near his usual self. I'm not saying he was the entire cavaliers team, since he surely had plenty of help, but no team is gunna win a championship when their superstar, the mvp of the league, isn't playing to anywhere near his full potential.

obviously cavaliers are gunna suck without lebron no ones denying that, that's about as obvious as saying the lakers would suck without kobe.

bosh is on a whole other pedestal compared to gasol, you two are only riding his dick because next to manu and dirk hes the one good euro in the NBA, but on no fucking planet is he better than bosh.

Gasol is just best big nowadays face it

-great rebounder
-good 1on1 defender
-good shot blocker
-good on the pick and roll rotation, okay got scorched on pick by nash but so did duncan and everyone for that matter
-good midrange game
-great in the low post
-great passer, passing good of the double teams
-runs the break, controls the ball well

He is just good in every aspect of the game on his position.

you two are only riding his dick because next to manu and dirk hes the one good euro in the NBA

there are and have been many more good euros in the nba

nice mix showing his euro skills ;D

LOL ! dude you're only making a laugh of yourself.. IDC about euro players or not, Gasol his abilities are way more than Bosh'. Bosh is a good player if you give him the ball a lot, but now he needs to play LIKE Gasol to win a Championship, I think he isn't ready for that. Besides that, Bosh needs to keep fit the entire season.. You clearly don't understand the Cavs.. LeBron = Cavs, Cavs = LeBron. not anymore though. Boston are a veteran team, Rajon Rondo stood out, wasn't able to make the same performance in The Finals.. So you can say Boston was lucky..

another thing, those odds are from one site exe, many reporters on espn i believe said lakers have the best odds. Some sites have miami even as the fourth in odds.

NO ONE in the league can guard Lebron 1on1 and I think you all know that. The only way to guard Lebron is with help defense. Clearly you guys don't get this concept. Artest had a hard time guarding Paul Pierce, what makes you think he'll stand a chance against Lebron? And if you think Kobe can guard Wade then you guys have to be stupid. Wade will run circles around ANYONE in the Lakers and almost ANYONE in the league. He is by far one of the fastest people in the league (besides Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Westbrook, and a couple of other PG's). In order to stop either Wade or Lebron, they'll have to double team and if they don't then it'll lead to score. If they do double team then one of the Superstars will be open. That's going to be the game plan for the entire year, if they master it then it'll be almost impossible to stop them. If any of you think that ANYONE in the league can guard either Wade or Lebron on a 1on1 situation then you guys shouldn't be talking about the NBA period.

Nobody can stop Kobe 1on1 or Pierce or any other "super star", well maybe not nobody but very very few defenders.
And Krazzy when help comes, true you have one guy uncovered, but that's why defence fucking rotates and
whenever anyone, star or not blows by defender and goes to the rim help has to come and you don't see teams
scoring on every possession like that. There are plenty of guys that require double team in certian situations
but it doesn't make their teams invincible. Plus your ideal case scenario didn't quite work with Lebron
and cavs it also didn't work with fastest guy alive who scored 3323423423 points but his team lost.

+1 to krazzy, Indeed Kobe is hard to guard on a 1on1 as well but, I wouldn't mention Pierce in that case tho

Clearly you're forgetting that in almost EVERY team in the NBA there's only one Superstar. The big 3 in the Celtics aren't superstars, they're just all-stars. People like Durant, Kobe, Wade, Lebron, Bosh, Dwight, Nowitzki, Paul, Rose etc.. are superstars because they can carry a team on their own and without them those teams wouldn't be able to function properly. In Cleveland it didn't work because he didn't have any consistent scorers. Answer this question, how do the lakers score? Either Kobe or Gasol gets double teamed and leaves one of the other players open. In this case, you can't rotate quick enough because you have 3 people that move too quickly for rotation. Lebron and Wade can both break down a team's defense by themselves so just imagine what they can do together. It's going to be close to impossible to guard them if they execute the play correctly. Maybe this year they might not win because they have to figure out how to play together for a bit, but the next 3 or 4 years after that, they will definitely win it every year.

Edit: Well not if Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and Stoudemaire team up in New York. Then maybe the Heat might have a run for their money lol
