Yes I have found it..for me it was under C/Users/Matthew(my username)/AppData/Local

"AppData" folder was hidden so you'll need to reveal it.

Another question to all w7 users. If there's anything (major) that is missing in w7, what would it be? Or are there anything in w7 that you get disturbed by that already exist? (a feature, design, function or what ever, something you can't get used to). If nothing at all, that's great.

Just your general opinions about Windows 7, basically.

no, as I mentioned in another topic, I was afraid of using win7 at first. I was sure when I get my new pc I will most get rid of win7 and install xp(m0ostly cause vista was such a disappointment), but I decided to give it a try anyways..and its as good as xp with 'better' design and some more features.

No problems with it since December 2008. (If you exclude some beta errors )

And nope, everything's working fine in 7 like it did in Vista and XP. Juul, the reason Vegas runs better might be because of crappy hardware? It's working fine here.

Just your general opinions about Windows 7, basically.

There is some minor annoyances but nothing too bad. An example is that in Windows XP you could do a folder slide show view if the folder has images in it. With Win7 you can but it's not quite as good, and it can only be set for all folders or no folders at all. A lot of things are changed and named different in control panel for example but everything is still there. It takes some getting used to but I think it's better than XP; it has better visuals and more features.

describe ur problems more in depth then. I have 0 problems with my win7 atm.

i dont got any problems with w7, im merely saying that some programs are running better on xp. older programs in particurely

That's only when you haven't got the hardware to run it properly. All features run equally good on Windows 7, even better at times (graphics acceleration due to Aero, auto TRIM for SSDs etc).

And like some others said, point out examples then! I've found zero programs that run better/faster on my XP install (dual boot).

'With xp i could reach easily 125 fps, constant. But now it drops to like what.. 20-40?
and at the same time my ping raises to like.. 80-100.. how the fuck is this possible?

It even dares to give lag shocks when someone connects & joins the game >.>


Any solutions, ideas?

as far as I know w7 installs the drivers by itself.. Could it be it installed the wrong driver for my vid. card? Cause I couldn't find a driver for w7/64 bit.

angel u shud update your videodriver yourself.i had the same!

I just did with Driver Genius. It detects all drivers that needs to be updated or are missing and it downloads for you.
Very nice program, BUT........ now my sof2 isn't workin any more! It crashes when Im trying to start it up.

it is going the loadin page but then it says Sof2MP-TEST.exe isn't workin any more.
and it gives me 2 options:

>> Close the program
>> Search online for help

so what's this? Any solutions to this?
