anyone know if Sw play?
We dont have place for SW.. The SeaWolf since 2007 sucks, so if they recruit normal rulers then its ok for me that they play

2v2 --> more teams, would be better imo
someone make a vote, or i'll do it tomorrow
(also if you play 3V3 cup and signup 7 people for ur clan only best 3 will play, while 4 others is a waste of a team, you'd better make 2v2 cup with max of 2 signups imo)

Hey Pep,
We're working on starting a sniper cup along with a few sniper clans / teams. We were wondering if Butcher is allowed to play if we use the demobase sniper section for organizing the cup.

If Butcher's on the Banlist (and he is), he won't be allowed to play, easy as that.
We have to enforce the rules, sorry.
Of course he's free to help with organising.
Obviously you are allowed to host a Sniper Cup without it having/using any Demobase rights, but it means that the Cup will not be recognized by Demobase.
So imagine if a clan 'Killers' wins (which would inevitably conclude in a gold cup), normally Demobase would put a gold cup-icon behind the clan, but as this Cup would be hosted without Demobase rights (for example: if Butcher would play) no clan will receive the gold cup-icon.
Also servers won't be set up / available to these kind of matches as it has no priority.
In short, without Demobase you'll miss out on a lot of support, but it's possible.

** I sent another message to Lumi asking if we can actually use Demobase forums for the cup or (if we do decide to go on without Demobase's support) if we'll need a seperate location.
So summarized, if we host it with the help of Demobase, we'll have to oblige to the standard set of rules (this includes the Banlist) but we'll get full support. If we don't, there will be no official rewards (unless it's stuff we give away such as a free server or something) and we'll have to arrange our own servers etc, but Butcher will be allowed to play.
Ok so Lumi just sent me an answer to my question. We cannot host the cup on Demobase if we want our own set of rules etc (mostly refering to Butcher / Banlist) so we'd need a different site for it.

Sorry for responding so late, it's not that I don't think Butcher is not ready to play in cups again, but rules are rules, have to maintain them.

i'll make a small site for the tourny, normally it'll be up by the end of the week cya there!,
