ok so forgy's demorequest topic got locked cus blue painted out his ip in the ss, anyways blue posted these ss in the warsection which basically proves he was playin.

he posting the screens where the name pedro (the name who's demo was requested and who's ip was painted out) is highlighted says enough
edit: there have been enough times an ipss wasnt needed in situation like this cus someone shows he actually played that war on demobase

Too late. Request was invalid. He would have to make a new request to get his record. Since it's been more than 48h, that is against the rules.

The screenshot is no proof Blue didn't record, because some players stop recording once the teamlimit is reached.
Then these players should have unsent demos as well.
It's unusual to do it twice (since on both teamlimits his demo-title is missing), but this is not a valid proof.

If you would look to the moral of this case, I would agree with you Junior but I already pointed that.
But checking to the rules now this was an invalid request.

For me this case is closed, unless Krazzy or another admin has another judging.
I'll leave topic open, but if it results in flaming and not a normal discussion topic will be closed.

Demo Request Rules:

- You must request the demo within 48 hours of the match, and have evidence to prove that, if necessary.
- You must supply an IP screenshot from FP or Rcon, or else there is no proof that the player who are requesting the demo from even played the match, except if the requested player admits it was him/her on Demobase.
- Players who were not in the match, cannot request demos. The requester must have proof they played the match.
- Demos can be requested from all types of wars (finished or not).
- Players with a Demobase Cup or MBL ban do not have the right to request demos on Demobase.
- For all demo requests(excluding mixwars where number of demos requested exceeds 1) the requester/requesters team will have to upload the same number of demos(of the same match) as they request.
- Demos requested during a topic, not originally in the main post, will not be counted. If you want a demo from someone you must make your own topic, even if there is already one for a different demo but from the same war.
- The players who had his demo requested has 1 week to send it after the topic was started

Unsent Demos*:

- 3 unsent demos will result in a ban, as seen in the cheater rules.
- After 1 year, an unsent demo will be deleted from the players "demobase record".
- If 1 or more unsent demos is deleted from a banned players "demobase record" he will still remain banned until his ban period expires.
- Players will be warned in advance in a topic if they are heading towards 2 unsent demos instead of 1 (for flaming and such).

* Unsent demos requested by a banned player during his ban time will be rolled back(deleted) upon request, you have 1 week starting today (ends 23rd march 2009)

this is admitting he played. the request was done within 48 hours. and nowhere in the rules it says he has to make a complete new topic and that it would be to late now.

edit: pep the ss dont have to prove he didnt record but the whole fuckin post and what he says proofs he did play and therefor the request is/was valid

And it's called common sense. Since when do we have to write that down in the rules ?

only the fact he edited the ip screenshot should be enough to give some kind of punishment

but i dont really care, ive never seen blue as a supergood player with or without fp

you of all people should now that there have been previous requests without ipss where the admin said (you) that if the ipss comes up on the last day of that week the request would still be valid and demo should still be posted. now buzz idiot cus you're wrong here in eveyr single way.

BTW fuckin hilarious you talk about common sense and writing it down. CUS we can all use our common sense to see that blue played and painted out his ip and should post his demo. dumb fuck

Well if Blue admits it was him it wouldn't matter if the case was closed, because that's a new proof for the case.
But Blue just posted a war in -aMeX- wars and said:

But like I said you can assume it was him 99%, but I want to see how other admins judge this, this is my view.

It's not allowed, but we can't prove Blue editted this IP-screenshot himself, therefor we can't punish him.
I said to Forgy before; play vs cC. only in a server where you got rcon yourself.

there is no actual proof that he played in the war he posted, therefore you should stop trying to prove it was him
