By the way, there's a fucking epic thing in black ops... it's called Theater in the main menu, you can watch your 7 most recent games in different speeds, spec other players that were in the same server, change the speed (slow motion, fast motion), even change camera views from 1st person, to 3rd person, to free camera look... It's really nice, I'd say the coolest things I've seen on black ops so far. If you like a clip, you can press record, or take a screenshot... and you can pause etc, it's like recording a demo and then viewing it with Refrag, and you can share your files with others.

Slizer, tell me what do you feel about the competitive part of the game? I mean, obviously there aren't many clans(if any) and matches played, but do you feel it has a chance? I don't care about trolling around in public really.

Kinda hard to say when I haven't played a match yet, but I'm thinking of starting a clan and find out. It looks promising if you ask me now, it could end up being on the same level as CoD4 when it comes to clanwars and such. There are already a few clans but I don't know if they played a war yet... I'll look more into it asap. I'm only playing public now to gain levels and practice a bit.

A lot of people seem to be lagging on black ops, including me... no heavy lag but it's still there. And the server list doesn't work properly, you need to refresh a few times and even then you won't see all servers. I see around 500 servers out of 7800. A few things that I hope they'll fix, after all this is just the first day.

So I've played for about a half day and compared to CoD4 and MW2 it's in-between.

CoD4 = 9/10 (This game was nothing but badass when it was released, there weren't many problems about it).
MW2 = 7/10 (I would have given this game a 10/10 is they skipped this crappy IWnet and added a server list, adding IWnet was a huge mistake).
BO = 7/10 (Not as great as CoD4, there are many things that are copied from previous CoD's. Apart from the lagging, the game is nice in all kinds of aspects, and probably better for clans and clanwars, the weapon designs and sounds + voices is my big minus though, almost everything else is a big plus, especially when there's no IWnet anymore).

My favorite cod will still be CoD4, and CoD:UO... Black Ops is worthy buying however, but they could've improved the game play and weapon designs a bit further if you ask me. Not the greatest game of the year, but still fun to play!

That's enough reviews from me, I will still post updates and news as I get deeper into the game. Hummel from Alcatraz, out!
