loving the game tbh

If your active on COD BO check out dteam servers would ya, theres one on S&D Public, TDM Public and an unranked server for the pcw's.
Or add skipsz (me) or highnesz on steam if u r thinking to go active on BO.

I think it only tries to downloads the game when you have steam installed & running prior to trying to install from the dvd. This happened to me once and after I closed steam (maybe uninstalled it too) it installed from the dvd.


You can run steam in offline mode and play the single player.

well, I checked the dvd contents and all install setups were related to steam one way or another(all of them had steam icon, too). size of disk itself was 7.8gb or something like that tho. probably for SP, but I don't care about SP.

How about going in a server with has auto kick on using knife? Or try a server without the heligun airstrike. These are just server settings.

Ye, there are servers that kicks you automatically for using other weapons. I joined a Sniper Only server and noticed this. It's quite nice.

haha been playing pubs little bit, lv 20 or something and had my best score so far yesterday 24/7 ;D.

is this game even played competitively btw? any mods(such as promod for cod4) or anything?

well it should, it's improved version of cod4
i was skeptical after mw2 but they seem to improve, i think that point bonuses suck
there's too many and taken out of the ass statistics and most of them and they give too much pts

Well I have played TDM only(and lil bit CTF) to get to know the maps. I haven't play S&D(I assume that what was played on competitive cod4?) yet but the game definitely needs some mods..tho as much as Ive looked into it they havent released modtools yet. Planting turrets or driving around with RC doesn't sound like something that should be part of competitive game. Don't know what else killstreak rewards there are as I keep getting the same stuff over and over from help package xD
