I've tried what you said demobase and my server still isn't on the serverlist :/
I've done /rcon sv_master2 master.caserun.com and /rcon heartbeat

I got it to work on most of our servers, but one server is giving me trouble. Everytime I do the heartbeat command it erases the sv_master setting and the server doesnt show up. I tried doing it through cfg file, rcon, and also changed the default value for sv_master4. Every time I do heartbeat it shows sv_master4 "" , but it shows the default value as "master.caserun.com". I suspect it has something to do with the mod. This server is running rpm 2k3 (rented from 2k3 servers). All of the other servers that I got it to work on are from different providers, running different mods.

Looks like something (RPM?) is resetting it back to nothing...

try setting sv_master1...but if official master comes back youll want to change this back to default (master.sof2.ravensoft.com)

I also had the same problem (refer to the third post in this topic or something) and this indeed fixed it. It's a general Linux binary problem, not a RPM2k3 error in general.
