because world leaders have different kinds of views on how the society should look like, and when they don't agree, either compromise tords something that works for both or let's go the lazy way and use military force to change their mind

it doesn't have to involve money, look at israel and palestine, and hitler for example, his focus was from the start to get rid of all jews and crush his enemies

I still think it's mostly POWER & MONEY

Sometimes you find a guy like Hitler who murders Jews because he's psycho but these cases are rare.

Ofc public has to be motivated by some reasons by their leaders like;
- jews are inferior
- saddam has ties with al-kaida and weapons of mass destruction
- these black people are half-apes so it's okay if we enslave them, they don't look like us
- guys from other village are Christians allah doesn't want them to leave so plz take machetes and bath in their blood for the glory of Allah
and million of others..............................(sadly in every generation there are tons of uneducated/dumb(?) people that believe this stuff, or think that war is justified.)

Why common people go to wars is an easy question;
when you invade; they are told so by the government
when they are invaded; they often have little choice

Sadly often it looks like not much has changed in last millenia common citizen still have about same impact on politics as Egyptian peasant had about same influence on Pharoah's politics as we do now.. Government never asks you whether you should go to the war or not. You can vote for guys who you think are not warmongers. But then again you vote for Obama and you still have a war in Libya.

It was justification that people use, ofc they abused them for money but what white colonial society assumed about them helped them psychologically justify wars vs African tribes, their enslavement etc. Same with Jewish genocide for many Germans it would be perhaps harder to perform genocide if they didn't think these people are inferior in some way. It is a mechanism in humans.

Anyways that was one of the off-topic examples how stuff such as war gains considerable acceptance from society;
its true bout war but also other stuff like genocide/salvery
random people need some sort of excuse to feel better when they look in the mirror(but also it used to fool them)

i myself live in pakistan, and so ik what shit the west talks bout. its either wars which lead to revolution or the superpowers create them so tht they sell their weapons or take the commodities of 3rd world countries to reduce their need. ( i.e america is silently stealing oil in afghanistan due to the recent shortfall and pricehike).It is kind of a way in which they fulfill their objectives, and strategically trapping poor countries by showing money.In 2000 russia tried to take over afghanistan due to commodities nd america made groups that they now call "terrorists"....
ik tht many ppl wont accept this,but its the silent truth.

i hve to say religion is a reason but it is the cause of maybe hardly 1 percent wars. for those who think america is correct should check documentaries of the innocent kids killed in drone attacks whose bodies r unrecognisable, how can they identify if they killed their target..?
