I havent even responded in the other topics where people got unsents because of the new fp feature, so i dont see what you're getting at.

well, what else than personal conflicts could cause him to pick freestyle out of the 10 players then johan? he already admitted he didn't suspect sami, nor did he want to use the demo to see how he played or whatever.

the only thing mario is doing here is being a retard, because he didn't even warn sami, nor did he care about the record we're talking about.
if you find the reason i gave dumb, you should be calling mario dumb as I can't think of any other reason to request the demo..

Also i have NO idea what point he s trying to make here as there have been plenty of other players that got unsents for this shit by now.

sami was inactive for like 3 months due to pc problems...he got back yesterday so i doubt he even knows about other guys getting unsents or fp having this new feature, hence why he should have asked him to record.

you don't have to suspect person to ask his demo. might be for moviemaking purposes or just to check something else, i.e how player does certain nade or whatever.

about solution 1.1 problem: that's why you get 2 chances before you get banned first time. everyone forgets from time to time or gets kicked/reconnect and forgets to start recording again(and that's why unsent list gets cleared at times..i think..atleast u wont handing ban for 3 unsents that happened like within 3 years). that's just one unsent and he will now be more careful in the future (if he cares)


just because he's nice doesn't mean he should get away with it, everyone part of this community has to follow rules.

Thing is that, recording is a must in wars, therefore I don't see ANY agruement against an autorecording function? Gimme ONE arguement against implying the function "too much work/na im lazy" is not accepted

this new feature makes me think of turquas hack and all the people using it. Even after the first idiot gets busted, a lot of other idiots follow his lead and also get busted. The big difference this time is that there's no 'real' fix to this problem as these people just wont start recording anyway lol..

oh well, as one of the people that didnt agree to the new feature I guess opinions differ alot in cases like this and of course everybody should record, but getting people unsents like this is just retarded.

All fairplay clients get a reminder every 10th second or something which says "echo ^3Don't forget to record, otherwise mario will catch ya"

i dont think there should be an auto record i forget sometimes to start my demo but i always remember to do so before round 3 is up :S

Solution 3: Remove the fp_status telling you if the players are recording or not. It just leads to spiteful busts which are unnecessary. The system was fine the way it was: if you suspect a player ask for their record and if they didn't record 3 times they cannot play in the cups. And I know that people can hide their records if they were cheating, but with @fs screenshots(make everyone get fairplay before the war starts) we now have the ability to see a persons screen without warning so records are only complimentary.

I've played like thousands of wars, always recorded but only like once was I asked to send it. Now with the new fp feature, if I forget to record there is a decent chance someone will ask it only for the sole reason that they know I wasn't recording, not for the fact that they think I was cheating. If fp did not have this feature and I had forgotten to record, would they still ask it? No because they weren't asking it because they suspected me, they were only asking it because they think I didn't record.
