i can say honestly that i didint record in that mixwar just came middle of mix and i did go patio everyround and pew pew somebodys and played it to the end

but i do record in everymix but i just forgot in this since i was doing other things at the same time ^^

Honest mistake. Thing is he didn't go berserk when he saw he was gonna get a +1 unsent your not gonna die just please remember to record.
And as said I will try to remind everyone to record BEFORE the (mix)war or when they just join.

yeah was my bad.. ofc you have the right to ask my demo but you could tell me at the last rounds or say with rcon since you were the admin i guess?

Solution 3: Remove the fp_status telling you if the players are recording or not. It just leads to spiteful busts which are unnecessary. The system was fine the way it was: if you suspect a player ask for their record and if they didn't record 3 times they cannot play in the cups. And I know that people can hide their records if they were cheating, but with @fs screenshots(make everyone get fairplay before the war starts) we now have the ability to see a persons screen without warning so records are only complimentary.

I've played like thousands of wars, always recorded but only like once was I asked to send it. Now with the new fp feature, if I forget to record there is a decent chance someone will ask it only for the sole reason that they know I wasn't recording, not for the fact that they think I was cheating. If fp did not have this feature and I had forgotten to record, would they still ask it? No because they weren't asking it because they suspected me, they were only asking it because they think I didn't record.

You're totally right. The only use for the function as I can see, is that when you ask for someone's record, he can't say "na sry didnt record dat mix" and get away with the hax.

but still I believe in some kinda reminder or autofunction since everyone's gotta record anyways. And the ONLY reason that somebody has record off is because he forgot.

Eventho some people already pointed it out in this topic, I really feel the need to point it out again: this new "record function" sucks and is not helping this comunity in any way. It is unnessicary and pathetic that some people now feel the need to ask a demo of another just to "make a point".

I like the new FP version and all the work put into it, just remove this useless record check function...

I'm really not update to with any of the demobase rules at this point, but seriously, if you guys gonna start whining and setting punishments on not recording on some ridiculous shit such as mixwars, what the bloody fuck. You've just ruined the game. In my opinion I couldn't give a flying fuck if people didn't record in normal wars either, you can pretty much see if a guy is hacking in-game anyways. Look at the fucking facts, check the last 100 busts, how many where done on records and how many were done on fairplay screenshots. This community doesn't carry equipment heavy enough to bust someone just by judging on records. So quit the whining about someone forgetting to record, shit happens, if you guys gonna start throwing bans from cups based on this, 95% of you people will be out by july.

+100, its pretty sad to see that players who play this game competitively, use everything they can to disable others chance for what this game is about: cupwars. This lame acting just makes cups inactive, and will make ppl stop playing this game... This bs has come too far in my opinion
