I wanna war tonight, mixwar probably, so I'll be ready tonight. Maybe I will get used to this warring thing, because people are way too enthusiastic about warring... what if it really is? Hmm...

let me show you one of the coutless topics where this war is being fought on, this one is pretty recent: http://www.demobase....mp;#entry457018
Ah, I read it. But the thing is, can't this "issue" be solved rather easily? Let the guns do the talk! The best demo players vs the best full players! Play such a match about 10 times. Results = clear answer!

On demo or full? If it's demo they have no chance, so considering they play 10 matches 5 on each version, its 5-0 for demo already. Then its not that hard to win 1 of 5 matches on full, looking at it from a probability side.

Well, what you're saying, malydok, could be reversed. Full players would be thinking the same; for full it's 5-0 in full and pick 1 point in demo... = win!On demo or full? I think you pro players should arrange such a match! Just do it and find out! I'm curious as well, haha.

i know youre not so familiar with this sof2 scene as u just joined the community but its obvious demo players would win all 5 matches on demo and at least 1 of those 5 matches on fullWell, what you're saying, malydok, could be reversed. why? just take a look at cupwars, full players have never scored more than 10 points on a demo cupwar while demo players are actually winning and playing close games against top full clans
im not trying to provoke anyone here, just telling some facts

I'm also trying to understand the argue between these 2 sides, it's quite refreshing to know the history about both sides. Now I do have a much clearer view about this issue.
But if the things you're saying is true, fleim... why are these 2 sides still debating this stuff?

a few words about this demo vs full "war": moving from demo to full is easier for a few reasons. firstly, you can play 1st both in demo and full which means demo players don't have to adjust to playing from a different point of view. secondly, there are many more flaws in demo: shadows, leaning etc, whereas in full these things are done correctly. it's always easier to move from rough to smooth than the other way around. also if you really wanted to see how full players would do in demo cups, you'd have to allow 3rd.
personally i don't understand how some people can even bother to fight over which version is better or worse or some other bullshit: just let the people play which ever version they like the most.

The fact 2 points of view are allowed makes the game already a jokewelcome mate.

for me it's hard to adjust to full tbh, killing good 3rders is really hard to me - if it was first only I think it would be way easier for me
that's why I go 1fx and some ultra noobs can slap me, while on demo I can mix vs you and skul on dep1 and play bettar than you :S
But somebody was also right saying that not many full players came to demo
