Have to agree with Pummi on this one. I'd also love to see things such as falldamage and nades back on full since their removal crippled the game quite a bit. If this would lead to an increased player base, even better!

But hey, let the "mature" professionals from demo keep on moaning about how much full and full players suck. That'll improve things for sure

what do full players then want then? i see it as
* they want to 3rd and hug benches/walls with overpowered shotgun
* play 4o4s cause apparently u can war more that way
* play without falldamage cause its too hard to get down patio for them without it, same for small
* play without nades cause 'people used to wh/3rd nade lamelamelame so we got rid of em!' (thats what I was told when I first played 1.00 )
* disable pistol cause apparently they cant figure out how to bind pistol to different key and might take it out during fight by accident (same story as previous point)



anyways..as I said..worth a try, all we need is a server and people willing to play wars on it.

tho the chance of this succeeding would be equal to attempt to get demo to play goldmaps on regular basis

Kiki your basicly asking people to vote for something which nobody knows what it is yet.. "First vote then we make up the rules" .. That's complete bullshit man, no offence..

First make a list of changes and then give people the opportunity to vote on the changes.. I personaly don't know what I'm voting for..

I can't see the great idea about if if your not even sure what your voting for.. Maybe if the vote closes you get 30-40 whining 12 year old kids to Full + alot of new rules alot won't like..

and + i can get clanbase admins help and tell me why i should do the rules now if we don't have enought votes? its wasting time ... just vote now guys ! and then give me 1 week and we do everything , just right some ideias here etc .

I removed the pistol, uzi, m60, m4 etc from my mod because nobody used them anyway. Afterwards others followed this example. The same is true for g_roundStartDelay 3 and g_roundTimeLimit 3 (both used to be 5).

I like this initiative to gather players from all versions. It has been tried numerous times before but nobody ever succeeded. Best of luck to you.

Personally I don't think the ladder will prosper for multiple reasons. For example I've been told that the Gold ladders used to be infested by advanced undetected aimbots. I don't see a reason why this would be any different this time.

I hope you'lll prove me wrong and have some exciting ladders.

Pistols were useless indeed. And why fight with a pistol if you got an AK.

People use pistol because they run out of ak bullets, or they need to reload.

Pistol is very handy weapon =) all games have it for a reason.

m4 is also a good gun - better accuracy than ak. Also, uzi is nice to use with sniper.

the idea is kinda nice , to have 1 active competitive ladders. Instead of 18 clans we could have like 30 or 40. But dr is right, we gonna lose gameplay + noobs who will never hear about this ( and we know we love them), etc etc.

Stop spamming about average age in sof versions. Mister here came up with a concrete idea so, let's help him out

We could maybe start with a cup involving demo, gold and full players, making special rules etc. With everyone giving a bit of their willing, and agreeing on some deal, the switch to 1.0 could be smoother.

or there could be a 1st only 280 speed etc, ladder. and another 3rd. Of course it's possible to do, but you should seriously rethink how you gonna do this instead of doing a petition where everyone gotta take 10 mins of their own to register etc etc, to sign in for smtg tthey don't know where it's going.

if the gameplay stays the same, and we will gain in activity. I'm sure most of clan would move on tho.
