If anyone wants demo players to have their settings on full and their servers it should be pointed to FragNet for servers. c4, cC, 3v, Se etc clan leaders so they can see if they're up for it and not worthless discussion about a pistol with rocket and fastflain?

@EDIT: He keeps talking about pistol loL, also im quite sure if c4 is the best at demo right now they'd remain the best in full too with the demo settings, I mean it would be the same for everyone just without barrels, glitching and better movement like in gold&full.

Anyway like dvz said full is better then demo since there is no barrels and no glitches (apart from pat 1st glitch which is also easy to encounter), so you can just get ur server settings on full with nades + fall damage and whatever and play without glitches?

no glitches in demo (aprt frmo barrels which is also easy to encounter)




if we cared so mcuh about barrels we would have used shop full for YEARS now.

i see this discussion has derailed again and its about the use of pistols now. well i like them back because i think they are cool and might be handy if you do happen to run out of ammo sometime (wich barelly happens tbh.)

but its true they are pretty useless, i dont know why rocket is trying to make it look like a badass weapon lol. i rarely see people use pistol in demo so.

i cant help but lol at some of these full players unable to see from others perspectives most of us demo players like the demo movement better than full (i like fulls and find it easier but i prefer demos) and barrels dont make the game worse its just different...

@pistol isnt very useful but it does have its uses which is why its pretty dumb to get rid of

I also think that this topic differs from the one you referred to, because in this one we're not merging demo & full. The main goal of this topic is to get as many petitions as possible so that v1.00 can enter clanbase ladders.

What if we ban the +leanleft and +leanright in one of both games? Imagine every fight in conference or at the helipad bunkers. It's all full of action and epic. Yes you're taking away "Sof2's main shit" but damn it's such a sweet thought. It would be such a fast-paced game. Like quake with AKs and no strafe jumping over the map

That we demo players would have more peace playing on 1.00 (IF YOU EXCLUDE THE 3rd and ugly tags and colors)

If you take out leans, gameplay just becomes forced to tdm.

There is strategy and tactics involved in CTF and infilitration. Tactics sometimes require positioning. The better positioning can win, although can be also beat by better aim and nicer gameplay. No offence bro, but taking away leaning isn't a good idea. It's counter-productive to the gameplay that inf and CTF have. If you want fast paced gaming, go play tdm or dm.

I agree, good point,
lean is very good idea in games, but it has to be balanced for best effect.
