Camham is one of the nicest people around once you get to know him, I know you're just trolling tho Sylt.
All the other people that think c4. is all about winning show they don't know much about c4. tho, most of the c4. members know eachother for a long time already and most of the players know eachother irl.
+1
and this is a funny topic, keep it up

i liked you more without your sarcasm...now your becoming camiel 2.0 without the skills...

Notice how someone who names the topclans always puts cC first. Eat that c4.

Do you guys think c4 made it this far just because of few c4 players? I can admit im not top10 sof player anymore but i have also been playing sof over 10years and i dont really care about "glory and respect" anymore but even if i suck on wars there is nobody in c4 who whines about it.
And everytime i see topic related to c4 i see this doctorfunk whining his ass off about something (mostly about c4 members)... whats wrong with you? didint skoko let you join us or do you just have sand in your head?
Well done agertz and rest of s35, deserved win.

Probably demo is as much competitive as it always was(tho from this year it is becoming worse skillwise i believe as activity goes down bigtime), even when public was filled with people and there were thousands playing weekly amount of good clans stayed more or less the same, each cup you get 12-16 applications.... and not that much of talent leaves... mostly mediocre players leave; like naabs from public. If Camham was on this level he'd be top5 player in perhaps any year demo was out. Some people are just act arrogant, because they are just like that not because they have some uber great reason to do so. Anyways arrogance doesn't bother me at.
This game truly isn't anywhere near as competitive as it used to be. Firstly there's hardly like 4 actually competitive clans, the others just have good days every now and then and even these "competitive" clans hardly ever play and if they do it's apparently some random maps or a completely different game. Skillwise it's really hard to say, would assume skillwise its better or the same it ever was. Nowadays people making crazy jumps, using vent/mumble/ts, staring down while running with binds, glitching a lot better positions than ages ago, no-one is really even pushing conf anymore (apart from abu). And all this luminaire-like play style with staying back, nading and glitching truly beats all the older playing styles, so would assume even the weaker clans nowadays could quite easily beat the old greats, if time travel was possible that is.
Now that we have come to the conclusion that it isn't anywhere near as competitive, of course Camham sets a riot when he talks about the game as if it was about CSS 5on5 ESL-finale. Which is of course quite absurd, but then again it's so absurd that he has to be joking pretty much everytime he says something serious sounding.
On a side note pretty much my only memory of playing camham in a war is, when he was trying it out with haze a few years back (?). He was the only one left, glitching some boxes on mid roof and we rushed him with pistols laughing. That's how much of an impact he has made to me. Not saying he isn't a great player. Just couldn't recall any other situation.
how would u know
like u ever won anything except the db admin lottery
Gotta admit, I laughed, nothing personal, just an awesome comeback.

Wow amen LOL, it pisses me off in wars people can't leave their glitching corner one single time and it's so sad to see that nades truly have become the #1 skill in sof, coming down 2 minutes later and nading people
Every war I play on this demo I start to remember why I'm so inactive, wars are mostly so fucking boring and have become a camping + nading fest, some clans falling back to roof 24/7 and then back to main or conf, makes wars instantly last 50% longer.. didn't mention the people that go afk in the middle of a war to bake a cake or whatever the fuck they do, it happens every fuckin war LOL

I think this new play style was inevitable for most clans (apart from some clans that still try to play case, even though it got alot harder).
Why? Because every clan started playing blue in the same way, which is, imo, the perfect way to play the 3 case - 2 east strategy. There have been some big shiftings in the way people play roof and patio. It's a miracle that so many clans in the past haven't figured this way of playing out earlier but, when you have a guy doing a deep podium fire nade from roof at start and a guy instantly dropping down to patio and throwing a fire nade to kitchen pillar there is basically no way you can play inside of case. ALL spots in case can be naded right from the start of the round which basically FORCES you to stay back in kitchen. When a clan throws their nades right - playing red the oldfashioned way is a pain in the ass. Back in the past you didn't have a guy doing a deep podium nade and you didnt have a guy instantly dropping down to the patio edge in order to get case stuck which made this side of case easily playable at the start of the round. You'd be getting an advantage in the rest of the round as you'd have control of case and blue wouldnt have any nades left. Because of the new styles of playing blue, red is pretty much depending on how good your spawns are and on how good your opponent nades.
From personal experience I can say that a lot of people in c4/rc/some others still push into case alot on the blue side.
As a last little note id like to add that camiel is one of the players that isnt always hitting a box to glitch at. In fact, he sometimes get me mad, just because he wont glitch the wall next to him because he thinks he'll easily outaim the other player, while hes 1 hp himself lol. Guess you have a bit of a flawed view of him as you probably havent recently played against him. (even though i admit he can play a bit slow, but thats because he always believes in his chances to win the round - which isnt even that much of an arrogant thought lol)

I agree with everything else you said, but I disagree with this part. I believe every clan is competitive in the sense that they are all striving to improve. And with the numerous teams and nation teams that can be formed for a awr there is plenty of hard compeition if you seek it out. I don't think you can say my clan hardly ever plays, we've played over 2 wars per day for the whole month since I created it. Yesterday I played 6 consecutive cws. So the games are there if you only have the motivation to play them! I'm sick of people saying this game is dying, or is dead because I've been hearing this sinec around 2004 when most of you didn't even start playing. And the maps also add to the activity in the game, and its really a new game when you compare how to play CTF (and sometimes INF CO) and INF ARC it requires different styles of play.
