Since you're not convinced yet I advise you to 1) reread my posts and 2) verify my points by checking them yourself and 3) save yourself some time and abstain from trying to implement it.

Not hating, I'm just a 100 that nearly anything that was implemented in full can be aplied to demo.


w/e I will have my map anytime soon and that's actually a good reason to reinstall quark because it was an amazing map with lots of potential.

Agreed. Demo has most, if not all, of the 1.00-1.02 functionality. Though it lacks the required demolition functions, just like 1.00.

I've added demolition to nv mod (sof2 1.00) a few years. The qvms make calls to the engine for this gametype, and vice versa. These calls and functions do not exist in the 1.00 or the demo version of the game (exe or qvm). You will have to recreate similar functions to handle this. You cannot do this with script functions in maps or in radiant.

For all you interested in demo modding, use a wrapper to intercept calls to and from the engine, then do whatever floats your boat.

Correct, though if you have ability to edit the game VM (which you do in 1.00) you can simply add it by editing its source code.
