I have a few problems with some clans that are playing in Facing Worlds III:

I'll start with the clan Ks., Ks was the only clan in FW3 that didn't play a single match so far. They had just like the rest 4 weeks time to play 4 matches so it's pretty clear that they don't have any intrest in this cup, which is a sad thing since this is the first legit clan cup this year. I don't even know how to start with GASB, the clan is dead but Fatay said to finish this cup with the players that were signed up. And yesterday he played a cupwar with c, which was so stupid since now he is banned from the cup (as Lumi said) and eN won that match with forfeit. SiK is in the same group and played the cupwars vs GASB but Ks never had 5 when sik wanted to play, so sik tried to play the matches but you can't say that sik deserves to move on since they lost twice. But tbh none of the clans in group A deserve to move on.
She played only 1 match in this cup so they also don't deserve to move on, I know you guys tried to play your matches but you can't go through the next round with only 1 match played. Period.

This is what I'm going to do:

I've made a "lucky losers" group with the following clans:

- SiK
- zD
- s35
- she

Every clan plays the other clans in the group only once. The TOP 3 of this "lucky losers" group goes on to the knock out phase. You will be given time from Monday 21 November till Friday 2 december to play the matches. See this is a second chance and I suggest that you take this chance with your both hands since there won't be a 3rd chance, you can count on that. The matches in this group will be played like the matches in the "normal" group phase: with one or more admins with a kniferound on roof before the cupwar starts, etc.

Ks, c and GASB got kicked out of the cup for not playing the matches and most of all for not following the rules every other clan followed.

Clans that are in the knock-out phase already (5/8):

- R-C
- c4.
- nVm
- cC.
- *eN|

Every clan can add 3 players to their roster as Lumi nicely posted today so I suggest you make use of that if you got some new core players or if you don't got alot of members. The clans that are already in the knock-out phase will have to wait till Friday 2 december.

It's pretty sad that I have to make an announcement like this since I was hoping that everyone would play their matches so there won't be bullshit like we have now. But it is what is, I tried to find the best solution and I hope everyone agrees with this.

I like the idea, but I think that they should be given 1 week to do it. No excuses to give them more than 1 week to play the matches they didn't play to begin with. I dunno, maybe I just want to get the knockout phase going faster.

Also, why do only the top 2 move on if we need 3 more clans for an 8 clan knockout phase? Maybe make the two teams that played the least matches play for the last spot so we can start knockout phase sooner.

I'm giving a bit more than a week time else I can make another topic like this and I really want that the matches will be played this time - The TOP2 of the losers group that move on is a typo, thanks for sharing that. It should be TOP 3 moves since we need 8 clans as you said.

Yeah, we did try to play our matches, didn't arrange them on demobase but blade asked our opponents multiple times, think he tried arranging nearly every evening we just had five able to play. I'm not complaining or even angry, because I simply don't care too much. But in a situation like this, where the matches haven't been arranged by the deadline, you should just make those matches draws and for example give each 1 point. Then just count the points together and see who goes through. Besides collecting all the inactives in a new group to play even more matches is kind of absurd.

sik tried to do their matches but they couldnt to play vs Ks soince ks never had 5 for cupwar, us and zd lost our groups but we were active and there are few blanks to fill for the next round, and about ur clan u know the story

I wouldn't really be whining that she wasn't included. It really isn't anyone's fault that this happened but the clans that died or never played one match. I mean come on, you have 4 weeks to play 4 wars. lol!

Seych, to be completely honest with you, I believe she is considered one of the more inactive clans in terms of sof2, not just this cup. I don't doubt that Blade asked for cupwar several times. I saw you guys complaining on demobase about it too, that eN or c:/ never wanted to play you. However, fixing the groups with draws just so she can pass is not the answer either.

This is fair, you think you can beat these guys, then beat them. Stop being picky in your cupwars. All your members should play well together, wtf is a best 5 for a non-eliminating cupwar.

What insane is suggesting here is a very fair way to allow the knockout phase to have 8 competing and active clans who want to win a cup. My only disagreement is that it should be faster than it already is. I have a feeling the knockout phase could run past the new year if this is the case.

Yeah like I tried to say, I'm not complaining, it's his cup and his decisions. I just find it odd that there are no cup rules for unplayed matches. I would have thought that a match that hasn't been played or arranged within the given time, would result in a draw or 0 points to each. At least some of the cups have had these kind of rules, but like I said, it's his cup and he can make all the rules he wants to.

And this truly wasn't about trying to get the best lineup from our part. Really can't stress this enough, I would have started playing any cup match at any point if the opponent would have said yes.

But yeah no point in discussing this any further, it's not about fair, or right or wrong. That's just how it goes. Hope we can come around playing these new matches. And yes we are inactive, act accordingly in matches.

Seych, I don't think there should be a rule like that since each cup can get to this sittuation by a different way, I think the cup admin should decide what to do with that according the sittuation.
The reasons these things happens can be individual for each cup.

I understand you and Marty's view just like Forgy and Insane said.
But it always lead to whine and disagreements who showed the most initiative.

The clan with the most posts in an arranging topic?
The clan who could play the most times during the period?
The clan who proposed the most dates?

Therefor who should we punish if we had to make rules about this?
If we would kick |she| out of the cup (saying you don't care but actually you do which is good tbh because you have a right of speaking and you didn't join this cup for nothing), whole |she| would get mad because Blade proposed some dates.
If we would kick the other clan out (who couldn't maybe play on these proposal dates from Blade but DO could play on other dates (I don't know if this is true, just imagining), they would be mad as well.

Insane and Forgy pretty much formulated the situation and I join their opinions.
If |she| really want to pass, try to spam in the arranging topic for this last chance, how more proposal dates and posts, how better.
This will increase your chance of going through.
And it's not easy on demo to arrange a war, if someone knows it's us by keep telling noob captains (sorry to state it like that, but sometimes they are) to play the matches or at least having a decent negotiation to arrange a damn cupwar.
So once again, I can imagine your frustration on this case too.
