same as you I believe ssd + slow as fuck durable hdd is the way to go. wd green is big and cheap. Basically any relaible and silent drive will do.

i'd take crucial 2x4gb 1600mhz cl9, it's almost same price while it has better overclocking potential ;p , not that it matters much it's ram anyways
