All listen now u scumbugs. First of all everyone should wear what he or she want. We cant make decisions for other people, because we dont like it. If they wanna wear a Burka because of Islamic reasons, we have to respect that. Maybe you dont like it what she wears. But 2 bad for you, because maybe she or he doenst like also what you wear.
This is already controversial.
If people would wear a suit from Germany with the nazi swastika on it a lot of people would feel uncomfortable.
Also the police would probably take this person with them to the police station for interrupting the public.
But once there is someone with a burka walking nothing happends.
Personally I don't mind that, but there are people who find this unfair.
Even though the difference is that one suit stands for the nazi period and one for the religion, there is a limit with freedom in wearing clothes.
Some people remind burkas to muslims and remind that again with the terrorists and they get scared on the streets watching them.
Once again personally for me that's ridiculous, but just mentioning people think like that.
Some people say that wearing a Burka is supressing the women. If a woman wears a Burka without any influence of other people, then i cant do else then respect her decision. Just like you guys have to do.
I think the most normal people of us do, but we are raised like that we make conversations with other people by seeing eachothers face at least.
So I can imagine there are people finding it uncomfortable to talk against them.
That is in France the biggest problem and there is a lot of controversial going on there now.
They want to forbid it by law, which even succeeded if I can remember from the news.
So the question is are norms and values having priority above religion?
A very difficult point, but interesting to discuss about.
This isn't really anything for us to judge about
That's right, but having a opinion is something we all do.
And it's not bad to share thoughts about it.
