@ACER

acer;
Rexel said;

His words suggest that black people are more racist than white people by their nature (or at least that how i understand it or perhaps he wasn't very precise)

I said;

what I meant by that is that blacks are more sensitive to racism because of social/historical reasons and not nature(which is my opinion)

now with each part exactly do you disagree?

I disagree with it beause white ppl where ofc rascist @ black ppl back in the days.

But that has been such a long time and they are already accepted like equil ppl in the netherlands for such a long time.

What Juul said (in my eyes he ment) he will get beat up way quicker if would wear i hate black ppl.
but he will not get beaten up by ppl that where discriminated, but by black people that are here without getting discriminated.

They have no ''real'' reason to be still sensetive about it.

If you know what i mean lol..

i can respond to this as i only see it now. You stated something what is true, but you didnt diasgreed with me while you said you do. :D We perhaps ''created'' them this way, that they are more sensitive towards racism. But that doesn't make it less true that they are more aggressive by nature now? Because what happened in the past.

aggressive towards racism, yeah that sounds believable

tho I could hardly tell from my own experience I hardly know any black people

I could find studies/or irl observations about it believable not because it is their nature to be more aggressive than white people but because, but coz they were discriminated for generations and that's why their response to racism or what they think is racism could be more violent.. sounds likely i guess

disagree, blacks were historically victims of racism in western world, so being racist towards white people is not socially delicate subject because it didn't happen on such as scale and with such social implications as the other way around.

White guilt, so you personally think that black people can be racists against white but not vice versa because the white people had slaves 500 years ago? Hello wake up.

Back then Ghanas ''king'' had slaves himself, Ghanas king SOLD slaves to the middle east and to the europeans who put them in America (The slaves had better life standard in America than in the jungle, just saying)

Talking about middle east some countries (UAE (Qatar, Dubai etc) still got slaves but now its people from India, Bangladesh and such. They tell this people they will get a good work and make much money, when they enter the country their passport gets taken away (so they cant leave the country, nor identify themselves) Then they get put to some building projects and live with 30 other pakis in a house, and work their ass off 15 hours a day for a total salary of like 150 euro per month.

slavery, gets shit done though

I know this has nothing to do with the topic just had to reply this harry potter.

Yes, I think people should be able to wear whatever they want, whether it is nazi symbols, a burka or an I hate black persons t-shirt. Of course the face and hair should be visible when identifying herself. In my opinion denying the holocaust should be even allowed, I would consider whoever does it a moron but it would be his free choice to do so. Lumi you're talking about norms and values but for me freedom is the norm and nothing has more value for me than freedom.

To whoever said my numbers are bullshit, these are the statistics(200 to 500) used during debates in the Dutch parliament. I've already posted my source, what about you try to defend your own bullshit and post your source.

Well yeah if freedom got all space, it has many advantages but it will also gain a lot of trouble and hate.
I think the society won't be safe anymore.
Freedom is also important for me, but since we live in a multicultural country imo we have to limit some of our freedom.
Not saying wearing a burka must be forbidden, but it's hard to determine what limit is right.
If you go deep into this, why do we even got laws?
If freedom is our norm, we should do whatever we want and thereby ignoring all laws?

You should have freedom as long as you don't limit others freedom or actively act: punching a boxing bag? fine! punching a person in the face? no! wearing a I hate black persons shirt? fine! going to black persons house screaming I HATE NIGGERS? no! wearing nazi clothes and denying the holocaust? fine! laying on a roof with a sniper rifle randomly headshotting every Jew you see? no! standing in front of a synagogue screaming SIEG HEIL? no!

Of course there are limits but just because someone's opinion or point of view doesn't fit yours, even though it doesn't harm you, it doesn't mean it should be immediately forbidden.

I dont care if ppl use burkas because its in their culture but imo its kinda scary... what would iran ppl say if i go hangout there in commando suit? would that be little scary? when you dont know if its just a woman or some crazy bit_ch wearing 2kg c4 and gonna blow everyone in to peaces.

Its just racist and stupid to order people wear different clothes than what they have been wearing last 2000 years... but on the other hand there have been also lots of bombings in europe and thats why they wanna make burkas prohibited and after all we live in europe so go wear fubu burkas in iran.

guess it also has a lot to do with knowing the religion/what a burka stands for , As someone mentioned earlier. if u(paahto) see someone with a burka, one of the thoughts that crosses ur mind is whether or not the guy has tons of c4 under it. ppl that have some knowledge about the certain religion will have other thoughts crossing their mind cus they know what it stands for.

You take one part of the sentence i wrote out of the context and call me racist where u can clearly see that i was referring to what paahto said. The fact that he wrote what he did, means either consciously or not, it crossed his mind. Now read it all again and if u still feel the urge to be "smart" abou it, do it elsewhere cus this wasnt even a nice try.

To be honest, the burqa is NOT islamic. it pre-dates islam,

Back in the old days (2000 odd years ago) and also to this day, when women in the middle east went out to the market, or travelled between towns, they would wear these burqas for protection from (you guessed it) sandstorms. it covers their hair, mouth, face etc while allowing them to be able to see.

I'm guessing that as time went on, this became the general outfit for women based on the conditions in the middle east.

However, some people just don't know where to draw the line between culture and religion. Islam only states that women need to cover their hair (for reasons that there is no need to go into unless you want me to expand), Islam does not require women to cover their faces.

So as a muslim, I am also against the full burqa, it has no place in the wester society as it is clearly a barrier between communities. it also clearly offends people. Not only that, where are the sandstorms in Europe? It is out of place.

So yeah, even though a lot of the women choose to wear the burqa, their reasonings are based on false information anyway.

Wrong, It states to cover everything except the face and hands.
However, Islam does not reject wearing a burka, wich is why it's an ongoing and useless debate
I think any woman may choose how she wants to interpret and act upon on her believes
