I have the exact same Windows version and I don't get any errors. Of course it's impossible for me to fix if I'm unable to reproduce it. Maybe other software is causing this. You can try disabling your virus scan and other programs and see if it helps.

Problem:max theres sum problem with the admin list im guessing that wen u change ur name or sumthing u get removed from the admin list can u fix this sum how

Suggestion: I was wondering for ur next rpm version if you can add all the maps running in the sk3 servers?

1. This is intentional. Admins are saved by their name and the first few digits of their IP address.

2. The maps are too large to include, download assets2.pk3 and assets69.pk3 from dbmaps.co.nr.

So you have the exact same problem? Did you try both injection methods? I'm wondering why this happens to you both, maybe it's related to other software you are using, such as your virus scanner.

i had exact same errors as rad it with windows 8, now i have w7 ultimate 64 bit and default injection works with no errors at all.
the only program that comes to mind and could conflict with rpm is the build in virus scanner win8 had, not sure if w7 has one similair

I doubt it's the virus scanner. I've put fairplay and RPM both on the exceptions list because they were flagged as malware. I run RPM, fairplay, and SOF2MPTest.exe in compatability mode with Windows XP Service Pack 3; Katana may also do this because if you don't then this version of Windows boots SOF2 from a hidden directory. If you havn't set these properties then try it and see if you can duplicate the errors I have.

i also keep getting these errors randomly, one day it works normally on the first try and sometimes i get these errors 3 times in a row.

64bit vista ultimate sp2, gonna put w7 on this tomorrow and see what happens

Hey Max, this is not RPM related but more of a call for help. You're the only person I can think of (and be sure of) that can fix the problem our TDM community is having, one single guy who thinks he's a god is ruining the fun for everyone, emptying the only active TDM server we still have (Dinks TDM)

I think it has something to do with the extended ASCII symbols in his name but this guy has the 'ability' to freeze everyone to 999 and keep the server empty for as long as he wants to. I've gathered packet information, I've recorded the event happening etc, I even figured out which VPN he's using (not that this matters any). I have most information available and I will pass it on to you on msn if you're willing to help us out. I know you fixed the extended ASCII in RPM. I was wondering if you could release a small patch to stop this pest from killing our game. Whatever he's doing must be bug related/script from the internet because he's not too bright, I spoke to him in Dutch. Anyways, Dink (the owner of Dinks TDM) purchased or is purchasing a server from 2k3servers, his TDM server is located in Japan though and it has been up for literally many years.. I don't see them moving the TDM to 2k3servers since most of their playerbase are American, Australian or Canadian.. for them Japan is the best choice lol, also the most affordable.

I don't know anything about that, either way, it's not really affecting Dink much, it's affecting the entire Dinks community and ours as well (atleast anyone who likes to play TDM now and then).

It's up to you though, I'm happy with all the work and effort you put into our community so far, can't force you to put your time in something you don't profit from lol.

It sucks though, I've been trying to 'patch' this myself but been unsucessful so far, asked others like Shifty but they don't really know how to fix this either.



@rocket the server is located in Japan tbh? Atleast that's what I got told, plus I've been trying to help the guy who's hosting it to fix the issue and he's Japanese for sure

Doesn't cost me any time since I have already fixed it. In general I don't like sharing the mod (or parts of the mod) with others, because people pay to use it.

Edit: if it's just about one server which you all enjoy, you might as well consider collecting some money and rent the server at 2k3servers.com. It's not like it costs a fortune if you split costs. Plus you get access to all mod features.

Well I explained my situation in the other topic (RPM and Fairplay) but I guess you forgot. I do not use DLL Injection; I press no, because when I select yes RPM does not work.

I just tried that 5b_test. I could not get RPM to work with or without default injection using that. However there was no startup errors.

and jesssus max so money hungry dink gets his servers for free and there isnt anything that will make him buy a server the dinks rpm was paid for by someone else wanting to war with dinks people

all it needs is the character lag fix that you made and nothing else why is this an issue
