I took this fairshot today together with Rocket to test something out, look at the server ip 0.0.0.0:20100, this means its local, I was watching a record in other words when Rocket fairshot me..

I wanted to know how Foxdie had a wallhack fairshot so I needed to test if you could fairshot RPM demo tool wallhack and it is possible. (we found out the fairshot is not uploaded from Foxdie's computer though)

Pk3 files that are allowed should be from now on posted in a topic in section Announcement tbh.
And Shifty is also a friend of mine, but I need to share my opinion too, even if that's not nice for him to hear.
I also said Shifty should get banned by that pk3 file he used in his 1on1, it's just the truth.
We kinda accepted it he is the creator of fairplay and therefor blind by such things like this.
And I know once again this shit was 2kb and innocent, but it's about Shifty in this case.

By those standards you could make a case if shifty allowed ab and wallhack you cant get banned because shifty allowed it?
But because we have no proof except for the people that used it saying what it was, we probably never will know what exactly got accepted (not that i dont trust shifty feinth azzy or who ever)

I agree with you, it's not OK to do this and it should never have been accepted in the first place.

Punishments? I vote ban Foxdyfx - as the creator & mass manipulator behind this "troll" - for some short period from Demobase & no punishment for shifty. Shifty is mature enough to learn from this incident and not do it again. (As is Fox, but most guys seem to want his head on a stick)

About if shifty accepted wallhack or aimbot, I don't think you can really compare real hacks to a simple HUD edit. I get that you are just making a hypothetical point but it's really farfetched and not even worth discussing. Sure they are similar in that shifty would have to accept them both, but again you guys need to remember there is a huge moral difference between the 2 situations. Using an "accepted cheat" should be punished in the same way as using a cheat without Fairplay.

About integrity, I also agree with you that such things make Fairplay look bad & some people will lose faith in the program itself or program maker. This is unavoidable now and if people don't want to use Fairplay then they have the right not to use it. However, Fairplay is still required for all cup wars, and I personally will still force some people to get Fairplay for wars that I play.

Comparing this shit to dinks mod accepted by fairplay or any other thing is just plain retarded. If some random noob sends a file to shifty and it gets accepted it should be released for everyone, not only to those c*cks*ck*ng amex & nvm members for example. No wonder everyone is hating on you guys now. We'll never know whatever shifty could have accepted already and probably not everything is being posted on that fairplay site either, he can do with it whatever he wants.
If I for example was in a trolly mood and made a file like this and turned it over to shifty, he would have never accepted it. But if some random puber from canada named foxdie being part of amex sends it of course it gets accepted. Says enough about how reliable/trustable people in this community and on the net can be. As rocket said, you have never really gotten to know shifty & you haven't tried to have any shit accepted therefore you have no idea what you are talking about. Shifty doesn't care what clan or team you are in, he just accepts what he deems to be a fair pk3 file, i.e. this pk3 had no advantageous effects on the person or people who were using it.

The Fairplay website includes ALL accepted pk3 files, they are displayed directly from the database which Fairplay uses to check pk3 files with when it is started. Obviously you can still not believe it, but it's just a fact that all pk3s are displayed there.

How do you know it was shifty who accepted it? Coulda also been XILLAX. Besides, rocket's right, most of you have never even spoken to shifty.

I know shift and he would never accept a hack for the anti-cheat. And he never has, he has only patched hacks in the past. ALL of the past experiences have shown us shifty is a trustable figure who fixes hacks on sof2. I suppose it was wrong that it went unannounced to accept this HUD pk3, but the only people who apparently knew about it were Fleim, Fainth, Fox, Azzy, and XILLAX, so that is their fault.

Although the Fairplay website has a list of all accepted pk3 files, if you would like to check that out, Luminaire. I know you can't check it out every day, but it was there regardless of what you think.

Fuck you, stop making it seem like I endorsed this. I even told Foxdyfx he shouldn't use it because there would be too much drama (and if he used in a cupwar that I'd ban him).

Sure I posted a couple troll posts at the start before it spiraled out of control, but that shouldn't mean I get put in the same group as the guys who used the pk3 file and continued to troll page after page.

Regarding announcements, when shifty accepts pk3s he never announces it so why would this be any different? For him it's just another file some guy asked him to accept, like he is asked daily. If he would post a topic every time he accepts a pk3 we would be spammed more by that then this cup topics all the time.

Everybody knows its hackable - as ALL anti-cheats are hackable, even ones companies invest millions of dollars in to. But we still use it because 99% of people can't hack it & don't have access to any "private" hacks floating around. Every time a hack has been publicly released(or even some private ones we got our hands on) for Fairplay Shifty has fixed it swiftly and stopped our game going back to shit.



BTW, I don't actually want Fox banned. I only posted that because doctorfunk already said he wouldn't! HAHAH!!!!



P.s. You guys should not get so mad at Foxdie, Azzy etc while there is a guy who is going around hacking peoples computers & hacking Fairplay. The same guy is also stealing 100s of euros from his victims, such as Madcat & Nixon.
