I do agree theres too much going on about requests lately. Ofc once upon a time u forget to rec, like when a server crashed or after knockback was shot. It keeps the game clean so gtfo with mercy.

Spacer requested these because he was requested by Odi lol, that's what Zioni means.
Anyway it's your second unsent Odi (unless you got this demo but I doubt it), at your third unsent you can't request anymore (told it already, but wanted to mention it again), so watch out and better record now if you still want to make these requests
I don't approve these requests personally since it's mostly because of revenge, but I'm worried why you guys don't record anyway.

We had this discussion earlier of course.
It is harsh to get unsent demos for these players.
Unfortunately some players got banned after 3 unsent demos, which is still a rare case.
You got 3 chances to send demos, which are quite a lot of chances.
We use fairplay now and we all think it's solid enough.
But even this can be hacked and it happened.
We have to rely on demos even if we have an anti-cheat.

I'm shocked that many people don't record after all this time.
It's so simple to press 1 bind before the match starts.
If you forget it 1 time, oke that can happen.
2 times is already many, but even 3 times?



You only need to save your demos for 2 days and you can delete them already.
We are not a mature community, so you can't trust all people here.
It's proven many times already, people sitting in barrels for 1 second or sniping with m60 are also caught.



It can always happen fairplay can be shut down.
So to implement this rule is not easy, since that means if fairplay is down nobody can request demos.

If fp is on, you need 2 be on fp & fp shot to request demos.
It is not like it shuts down every war / before every war.

You can make rules with more then 1 line of text -.-

Oh yes and it proved so true, because sof2 lost all activity because every year there are about 20 ppl banned for not sending demos.
You've got banned for not sending demos and it's the best proof it was a good idea(you most likely cheated at least on one of these occasions).
Only other people "screwed" over this are people who just refuse to record(odi,faslain).

I think you didnt get my point, what i was trying to say; everybody should record, but there should be a limit to the request. So people wont request records without even suspecting that person of doing something prohibited. But just to fuck them over. Just put a max to, lets say 5 requests per 6 months. That way people will only request demo's when they really think something fishy is going on.

maybe a request cap would be a good idea if easy to keep track of it
personally im ok with this system- unsents are removed after 1yr
so unless you're on cheating spree and your demos will be request each month or so, or you just refuse to record vide Odi- you should be fine.
