Wouldnt have been half as good without me leading it. Everybody knows it but nobody really wants to say it.
Everybody knows we would've won that cup too with the line-up we played with in the semis when we beat c4. We didnt have the extraordinary players like Steven, skoko or xillax but we had damn good teamwork and played alot of wars to get there that time To bad doc funk saw it differently else we would've won that cup.

besides you talk like we were some scrub clan before you joined, we already had good players 1st time around

so 'wouldn't have been half as good' is off the mark to say atleast, but you did make it better

 

We will never know but we had bigger chance to win it I think, I have never let anyone who left play a cupwar

but perhaps it was good time to break that rule since like half of the clan left during that last cup

Yes ofcourse, you know me. Still as arrogant as always And my sof2skills and managing skills were connected. My strength wasnt aiming but my other sof2skills we're good enough to make the team play better. I never cared to have the best scores but i always wanted my team to win.
had most fun in bro though! Most challenging...

There's new questions in the poll, if you think there's a better possible lineup throw it out, I say the absolute best sof2 lineup is one of those.

 

In my opinion $nugg, st4ff, priest, XillaX, hok would be the strongest team, but that's factoring in how well snugg/priest play together and how ross&taavi really buy into the idea of playing as a team and play to their full potential when they're on vent with hok

 

Pure talent wise, I'd say either \Reflex, cam, priest, XillaX, lumi\ or /$nugg, st4ff, priest, XillaX, lumi/

 

but skill don't always lead to results, so I have to give credit to that yippee line - ref, cam, indo, zippa, XillaX they were the hardest hitting team aim-wise I've ever played against.  Also the best c4 line is probably ref, cam, skok, xillax, priest or lumi cause there's no doubt c4 played better as a unit when ghost played, kinda like how 3v always played better with hok in the lineup even if he brought down the average skill level

 

The best teamwork I've ever seen was hok snugg, st4ff, me, and phaze.  We all actually played as a team, without egos.  Could care less if dr. funk thinks it's egotistical to say that now, just telling my truth.

I think Dad's Superserver was the first big european server I started playing in, back when the first demobase came out (this is the 3rd) when -HaZe- rushed raped and escaped on everyone except -=OG=-

On topic: Voted best clan lineup would be c4. lineup with skoko reflex cam indo navy and NL lineup for Nations Cup.

In my opinion they were hardest to beat during my active years in sof2. Though those 3v and sk lineups look imposing too.

That's the EXACT lineup that lost 20-7 against hok yosh Abu murdoc and snugg in the dbc06. 3 players with 150 ping against arguably the most talented lineup possible? Teamwork beats skill if the teams are in the same league.

 

I think that c4 lineup would be significantly stronger if they had Xillax or priest or lumi instead of navy. Navy's a consistently solid player who won't drag the team down, but those other 3 have more potential in my opinion to take over and be the best player in the server against any competition.

I agree those sK lineups could have the craziest aim cause the ceiling on azzy and them when their aims hot is so high.

 

I guess a lot of it matters who's feeling it the most that day, I think the only people I've seen break 40 on a single side (dio doesn't count fuck that cheater) are st4ff and windows, and it wouldn't have mattered who they were playing against, on that given day they were the best player in the world

Funny that you say that cause 3 out of the 5 players in that lineup werent even in c4 when hokie was still alive (or atleast not during the dbc06). Would have been quite the achievement for them to play in this final lol

 

and you couldnt be more wrong about the line ''the most talented lineup possible'' if you're refering to our team in the dbc06. We were a HUGE underdog, in the shadows of a multitude of clans (think of: haze, ks, cc etc etc) and surprised basically everybody by getting to the finals, beating haze & ks on our way to it.. 3v had a very easy path to the final (literally the biggest difference between two sides of the bracket in all of the cups ive played  ) and because of this, they were the underdogs against the team that beat all of these big favourites. This is however in contrast with what you think happened. We were not some huge superstar team, that would just come in and roll through the tournament because we were that much better. We were a similar team to 3v at the time (although imo a bit better), but just had a more impressive run towards the finals which is why we got hyped.

 

also the line: teamwork beats skill does indeed apply on this final, as 3v probably was individually worse than our lineup, which by the way, wasn't all that impressive imo (me on my shitty 40 fps computer, skoko, mociema, dio and ?crono?, not sure about the last player ). But 3v had a HUGE advantage on us: they used a voice communication system - ventrilo. We did not use any voice comms untill after this cup (god knows why) and thus it was rather easy to have the better teamwork, cause our teamwork was basically absent at the time. I have to give credit to 3v for absolutely destroying us in the right match though, it was very impressive. However, I do think that if we would have played this match 10 times, c4 would have won 7 times, even without ventrilo, just because the skillgap between us and yoshi,abu and hokie was pretty huge (snugg and murdoc were already pretty good at the time).

 

I see my story got quite huge, here's a tl;dr: c4 was not as good as u think it was, 3v DID use a voice comm and c4 didnt and (IMO) it was an incident.

 

this is just my perspective on it, dont shoot me down for it :}

Never played with st4ff I think, but I gotta agree with about Windows. Remember playing with him and how we all went "WTFFFFF" when he was on fire, shit was epic
