Hello demobase,

The last NC, DNC II, has ended quite a while ago and I'm glad to announce the third Nations Cup in demobase history!

I'm hoping the new NC will be a success like the previous two again and of course i also hope for a lot of thrilling matches with a lot of impossible frags.

Now we are going to give you a bit of information about how you are able
to participate.

- Participation

By making a topic with your team in the DNC III section you will be put in the NC playoffs or if your team is the only team, the NC.
Also, we are introducing a new system regarding the participation this season.
We will try to make it as fair as possible for everybody this year by introducing the 'Play-off System'.

What does that mean?
It means that you can create your own team consisting of people who live in your country to compete with the other teams that were created.
This system is made for the countries that have a lot of players such as Holland and Belgium. But of course if there are more teams in other countries there will be playoffs for them aswell.

PS. After the playoffs have finished the winning team can add other players to the team he played the playoffs with.

BUT if the admincrew, doesnt think your team stands a chance against the other teams we will NOT allow you to compete in the playoffs/NC. This is because the NC is hosted for the very best players of each country and not for just everybody.

hmm.. Since this is the best cup with the best wars..

wouldn't it be great of we put the max rounds to 2x15?

in that way the wars take a lil bit longer and more fun.

it's very simple, the fun of wars just last a lil bit longer]

maybe 2x12 would be great, 24 MAX rounds.

and if people likes it, the semi final 2x13, half final 2x14.. FINAL > 2x15

I dont know if this is the place for ideas but if you want people to take this seriously you should have money involved.

If every team would pay 25 euros for signing up and get 20 euros back after they have finished. If they wont show up in matches or they get caught of cheating they wont get their money back. The rest 5 euros from every team goes for the winner.

A bit of money would motivate the team and make the tournament more exciting. Also people wouldnt just sign up to fuck the whole thing up or wait for the best lineup for every match. For instance in football we got system in which you must pay if you want to change the match date.

Wouldnt be hard to organise but definately would improve our gaming.

it is a great way of motivation, and the wars would be more interessting!

if we keep the price low, it would be fine for me.. like 7 members per team, thats less then 5€ per member..
