I am tired of that specs-locked bug in everymap except shop.
And I also miss the missing sounds.

And I would also like to see the new functions.

Specs-locked bug is indeed fixed in RPM 1.47.

The sounds: I don't know which ones are missing! Please post in the mod thread and I will add them.

The reason that I'm not releasing the mod is because I want to include a working auto-kick system for non-MT users which is almost working. There is just a small bug in the encryption algorithm of MT. I sent burpje a message about this about a week ago but got no response, I will send it again to speed things up.

Anyway, I think I can release the client side version already. I just need some testers before I'll release it - I don't want to release a buggy version because people will probably add this version to their Pure server and will have to update it every time I release a bug fix. Contact me on MSN if you want to help me test it.

1. The only thing that will speed up is that sof will die even faster..
2. Forcing people to use mt is stupid.
3. Not everyone can use mt due some problems.
4. When mt is offline no one can join any server?

Using the auto-kick system is optional for the server owners. It can be turned on/off with a single cvar.

Even when the system is disabled, the server will detect which players are using MT and show this in the scoreboard.

Downloading a single RPM - which takes you only a few minutes - to play in a Pure server will prevent cheats (in non-Pure servers you can easily wallhack and block MT screenshots). I you aren't willing to spend such a small amount of time to prevent cheating then I advise you to play in non-Pure servers and face cheater heaven.

Um, I don't know ANY leagues which don't enforce a 3rd party anticheat(normally there own), except Clanbase which is noob anyway.

It's just a fact that any competative game has an official anticheat + many 3rd party ones to make it even more secure

1. You could be right here. An exciting league could provide new players to the game, I look forward to sponsoring/organising such a league.
2. It stops most - if not all - common cheats.
3. It's their personal choice.

It doesn't seem possible to disable these sounds solely client side, a server side modification is needed as well. You can post a suggestion in the mod thread. As a side note, for RPM 1.47 sounds will be disabled server side when competition mode is enabled.

Public servers have alot of players who don't play much and don't know about Pure or MT. Consequently public servers will have a significant decrease in players if they are Pure or force MT.
