All the people come here from SOF2 mp test don't they? So this is a sof2 community isn't it? Why wouldn't we want to have a cheaterlist if we don't we might even play with people that hack and we don't even know it cause nobody reports it. You can never know if there clean or not unless your someone like Mgod.

cheating should be punished with a permenant ban
not sending demo - 1st time; 1 month ban, 2nd time; permanent ban
admit that you cheat - 1 year ban, or 6 months
that is how i think would be a good way.

Atm the main reason probably is that it's under the MP Test category and therefore meant for MP Test wars. Besides nobody has said that this isn't a MP Test forum, nobody has said that most of the people registered in DB aren't forming a MP Test community. After all Demobase was created for MP Test.

You managed to find the most important part of all these texts
Let me think why this could be.. the crew we have gathered on the OLD forums, is pretty much from sof2test. These new forums have been up for 2 days or so. We havent made the subdirectories, nor did the admins pay much attention to the other sections since all the mods/admins pretty much played sof only. We can change it now. I can make 7 subdirectories to DOW/WOW/LOTRO etc. Or better yet, can make mods that are interested about these games to lead those sections and build it up

That's a nice idea Dena really, but on Clanbase you have also more games, doesn't matter what game you play, if you do cheat there you will get banned on Clanbase also, so your argument doesn't change my mind about banning players here.

Yep if there is enough proof to bust someone I think he should be banned here too.. Ofcourse it doesn't force him to stop hacking and he can still play the game but atleast we won't have a cheater on the forum, this forum is no cheater forum is it? So all cheaters out. Cheaters provoke flame wars and are most of the time annoying on this forums so... Really u guys are weird saying it's better to not ban cheaters And dena stop making up things like 2/3 admins would be banned and 95% of the users too, so u say 95% of the users cheat and never send demos? NICE. For the demo part I would say after 3-5 times he gets perm ban, not directly...

I think they only need one warning thats all not 3-5 thats just too easy for them. I think demobase is based on mptest cause most of the news is about mptest if not its about people who want to bring people from demo to othre games wich is ok for me everyone here plays demo so why shouldn't it be a sof2demo forum? Even if they can still play sof2 demo they won't annoy us on the forum anymore And Mario 1st time = warning / 2nd time = 10 days ban / 3rd time = 3month ban and then if he ever comes back and don't send again perm ban...

Banning them here won't help much only if your on a lot but if you could post all the ip's of the people that do hack server admins could have it easier. We should still have a Suspected/Busted section so we can bann them on sof2 its much easier then having to find out for yourself..
