It's actually simpler than you think. She pretty much just has to declare bankruptcy and she'll be rid of this 88 mil shit in a few years and can get her life back on track. It's a big blow and she'll be poor for a while but it's not the end of anyone's life. That's the beauty of money.

no she made 3 mil out of it + there was $85,478,600 of statutory damages wich are the expected incomes blizzard would have made if all those people would have payed if they played on regular servers instead of playing on a private server.

Almost every WOW private server has a donation server, so i don't think it was just donating!

It was but seeing as Scapegaming was one of the biggest communities back that (it had over 400 000 members if I don't recall wrong) the prices do add up.

yes you do..you have to write the server code from scratch. it's not like WoW server files are soemwhere for download so you could easily set up private server.

Well ye for as far as I recall they used some sort of emulator to carry the servers and such.. something with storm in the name? Can't remember..
