cant do it in demo afaik and im not capable of doing anythin like that anywayssomeone now make this ingame demo list for demo thx

even if u do, u still can view demos from rpm etc tho some info might be bugged (3rd/1st info n such)It means we'll have to use NVMod to have these features right
but i think max posted in rpm topic that he might release update to rpm to send more info with 'tmi' (whatever it is, sounds goodYeah, I just finished up the free cam today.
Heres a video. Btw, no steven spielberg shit going on here. Im still getting use to the keys so it jumps around a lot. Also, it was recorded from an RPM server and played back in nv mod, so the scoreboard and floating health is all fucked up.

Right now I have the exact setup for the demo viewing in NV Mod and RPM 0.75. Ill post the RPM version as soon as Im happy with where its at. Since most people use rpm2k3 client, I will probably make a separate mod folder for it and possibly put more features into it since it wont be used for gameplay. Its hard to do on an active mod because of all the keybinds needed.It means we'll have to use NVMod to have these features right

The UI menu is standard Q3 code. In fact all I did was alter my existing mods list for demos which took literally 30 seconds to change the ui scripts. Just set the feeder to FEEDER_DEMOS and use the uiScripts: LoadDemos and RunDemo. It should work in the demo version without issues.
NV mod does not use the TMI setup. Its totally different. Anything other then RPM 2k3 would have issues with it as well.[but i think max posted in rpm topic that he might release update to rpm to send more info with 'tmi' (whatever it is, sounds good

Then why did I just waste my time coding it lol.
This would certainly be a hot update for RPM client. However, it's kind of pointless if we both work on it and compete with getting the "best" demo playback mod. Plus I don't want to upset you after you've made such a nice contribution. On the other hand, for players it would be much more useful if it were included in RPM. So... would you be upset if I included this in RPM? Maybe we could cooperate?

I wouldnt be upset. I was just adding it because it didnt exist in another v1.00 mod. If it were to make its way to another mod there wouldnt be any reason for me to continue updating it aside from the experimental aspects. The demofixer was to be my last contribution to sof2 and this was just something to goof around with.

I tried to run refrag in demo and it wouldn't work, atleast the features wouldn't. I thought you were adding features that aren't there(free camera, etc) n thats what LMO was asking for probably.Right now I have the exact setup for the demo viewing in NV Mod and RPM 0.75. ) that wouldn't even work. I don't think my code was flawed either since it worked in full. tried like 3 ways, doing the menu file from scratch..altering mods menu from gold aaaand using almost straight rip off from refrags code

lol all i was saying is how to add a demo list into demo like he has @ the video which means being able to display the contents of the folder demos inside a menu ingame and run the demo from that or just show the names atleast makes it easier then having to remember or what not
