A folder with the same name is created in the demos folder, which contains the info.txt file, a screenshot and a thumbnail of the screenshot. If you want to share the demo with others it is recommended to zip/rar the demo file plus the folder. You can also only share the demo file, but then some information will lack in the demo list (such as the thumbnail and the players).
For each demo, you can add a description which is added to the info.txt file (Notes). This description will be shown when you select the demo (Demo Description).

@ Luigi: The name for each demo is automatically generated and will look something like this:
playerName][max server][mp_shop][inf][blue][11-07-18 23h57m50s.dm_2002

@EDIT: if you do !map mp_jor1 and then !g inf, it won't make it work like this. sometimes when you try to change from kam2 to shop and you do !map mp_shop !g inf, it'll keep it on kam2.

When will you release it max? and btw do you think its possible to make something like: !map mp_jor1; !g inf? that's for shop and gold maps mainly where you can play in both CTF and INF but you gotta change the map and then gametype usually.
@EDIT: if you do !map mp_jor1 and then !g inf, it won't make it work like this. sometimes when you try to change from kam2 to shop and you do !map mp_shop !g inf, it'll keep it on kam2.
The following should work:
1. Type !g <gametype>
2. Before the gametype changes (in 6 seconds) type !map <mapname>
This should set the correct gametype in the next map and doesn't require 2 map changes.
As for the mod release date: still lots of updates to add before I'll release a beta version.

ideas for killstreak sounds:
3 kills : holy shit
5 kills: rampage
8 kills: godlike
11 kills: dominating
14 kills+: unstoppable
(from rpmpro sounds)
that would be sick!

Hi, do you think its possible to make a small panel with the current whereabouts and health of teamplayers in the left down corner of the screen? I mean just like in gold with OSP. I really miss that, was very useful ;p, if you dont get the idea, heres a screenshot. http://imageshack.us.../shot0048r.jpg/ Would be really nice
thanks
This would be a great idea max.. very usefull to.

So when is it out max?

When !cm is turned on, it's now displayed on the "Top left/right corner" (Just an example), and make it smaller and more compact than it is now, or maybe displayed in a whole different new way.
And when all players in red/blue team type "/ready" in console the first round automatically starts after the last guy typed "/ready". And with this the whole new system of autorecording and shit. And maybe you can also move the "recording" text in the top middle of the screen to either some other, more fitting place, or implement it into the scoreboard (Rec: Yes/No), or remove it at all, since it will be always on with !cm anyway I suppose.

Thank you for the suggestion. This has been suggested before, and like dvz points out, you can use the scoreboard for it instead. I guess I can add it as an optional feature, added to the list.
Can be nice for the guys who find it useful.. I personally don't, you have the scoreboard for it.
So when is it out max?
Due other occupation (our new website) I didn't work on this lately. Also, players told me the game was dying, so I was not really motivated to finish this. Since you guys are still interested I'll pick up this project. Let's make some deadline: I'll have a beta version in one week from now.
While you are still on it, here is another minor suggestion;

1. Sure we can show that competition mode is on somewhere in your screen. Is this really useful though?
2. I thought the Ready system in Gold wasn't really used which is why I removed it. Are there problems with the current system, where an admin starts the game?
3. I've considered putting the recording in the scoreboard. Since everybody is recording in competition mode anyway, this is superfluous. Also, I can foresee non-comeptition mode situations where you wouldn't like other players to know that you're recording (catching a hacker or troll).

And the /ready thing is just a suggestion, it's just that sometimes you have to ask someone 10 times before they are ready. Guess this could be useful maybe.. well, it's not of a big deal anyway.
And I agree about the displaying the recording is superfluous. But can the "Recording:1292128KB/MB" text at least be moved to elsewhere (I'm not sure if removing it at all would be a smart idea, since people might want to know whether they are recording or not, even if !cm isn't on) and made more small/compact. Because it's in the top-middle of your screen basically.

I ment that big text in between the "!cm" and the (first) "!mr". There is this bug ugly text with useful information about the settings.

The big text is indeed ugly, but showing it somewhere else is impossible, only the center of the screen can be chosen. The alternative is to show it in the console only, but then you'd have to scroll in the console which is annoying. I think the center of the screen is best. It shouldn't show very long anyway: everyone checks the settings and you can restart the map (within a minute or so).
The ready thing has other problems, players will not be aware of it and forget to click (or they don't click on purpose). You still have to call them if they aren't ready (just like now), so I'm not sure if it solves that much.
The recording text should be removed. You know when you're recording, no need to show that text anywhere. This can be accomplished by hex editing SoF2MP.exe, in other words it should be implemented in FP. I've already contacted Jaron about it a few months ago, since it is needed for this mod, and he was willing to remove some of the text. We can just leave RECORDING or REC and remove the rest of the text. In fact I've edited my SoF2MP.exe to just show REC.

Since playback features seem somewhat moviemaking oriented - consider adding instant greenscreen function? Two options would be nice too; whole map or just sky for example. ohyeah..obviously something that shouldn't work outside demo.

Green screen? You mean the whole screen turns green except for players? I guess you can use r_drawWorld for that. I don't want to include it in the mod since I want to keep it compatible with FP (so you don't get kicked during playback for using cheat cvars).
Camera positions aren't really needed I think. You can easily and quickly find a nice camera position by using the ghost feature. Though I guess I could include it anyway, it's not alot of work. I think I'll save them per map, so you can set good camera positions per map (e.g. in mp_shop near the briefcase) to get some cool shots.
I think the jump feature is the most useful for recording a movie. You can quickly go to certain parts in the demo this way, even if it's a long demo. Setting the speed of the demo by mouse scroll is helpful to find the most exiciting parts in a demo (10% - 1000%).
