EDIT: since the fixed version hasn't been accepted by FP, use the default SoF2MP.exe to load SoF2.

I just tested a little bit with Baris and he found:

- Some of the new spree sounds give an error, these should be converted to 8 bit wav or mp3
- The jump command doesn't work for him if the jump frame number is lower than the current frame. The demo should be reloaded and a jump should occur, this didn't work for him. It works for me though!
- The new smileys aren't very exciting, the brightness of these icons should be reduced. Perhaps they should be little bit larger as well.
- Sometimes the client version doesn't get recognized ("server does not support recording"), this is a server side problem.

I fixed most of the errors Baris found (except for the client recognition error). Updates:

- Rare demoplay file error fixed: buffer size increased
- Jump limit was not forced correctly. You could enter a frame that's higher than the movie length. This fixes Baris's problem.
- Smileys are slightly larger
- Smileys gamma is corrected: they should look better now if you have a high gamma (r_gamma 3)
- The new sounds are converted to mp3, the 8 bit wav warning is gone

Use SoF2MP.exe instead of FairPlay.exe. The beta versions aren't accepted by FP.

I added the following:

- You can reload the current demo by typing "reload".
- You can save/load/delete custom camera's per demo. Go to the desired position in the map and press your Insert key. A camera will be inserted at this position. Switch between your camera's using F1-F15 keys. Delete camera's by using the "camdel <id>" command.
- You can add events in demo's. For example, speed up the demo after 10 seconds, change to 3rd person after 15 seconds, change to camera #1 after 20 seconds, etc. I will provide a small tutorial for this.

Please provide some feedback on the current beta version, so I can release a new one including the above features.

ive checked the V3 version a bit i really like the names options n all also recording tool looks amazing even tho i couldnt really check it as the server didnt support recording! i got no idea how the smilies looked in the prev version but the new ones look nice but somehow theyre just fucking weird maybe its about getting used to it but i expected you to take the wink smile just from MSN for exmaple, same the beer. keep them in the yellow-gold fade and not too dark i mean usually theyre like this and now its , but good job anyway :>

Thanks for testing. Indeed the smileys are quite orange, so that they still look fine when you use r_gamma 3. I'm not sure if they're better than the previous ones, though I quite like them.

You can test the recording only in my server ("\connect 95.211.38.101:20150"), usually there are a few players. You really only need a minute of recording to test the playback features. More info here.

Yeah they will be in the next beta version. They are indeed pretty awesome, and user-friendly.

It would be nice to get more feedback on the current playback features, so that I can include more updates/bug fixes in the next beta version.

not sure if its already included but since u already added campoints why not make it possible to make camera move from one point to another at specified speed or such? pretty much like campaths work in HLAE
cause from what i understood u can jump between points but its instant?

At this point you can jump instantly between camera points. I don't plan to add camera paths though.

i record on max server but i want to load it seems like i need demofixer.exe but its not on my sof2 Folder
anyway at name making, all symbol working but at the color i only can choose 4 maybe set at max 18 color?

For more information on how to fix the demo, see the link in the opening post.

As for name making, the number of total characters in your name is limited by the server (to 30 or 32 depending on where the message is shown). So if your name is shorter, you can use more different colours. The namemaker script calculates the total length, so it gives an error if your name + colours will become too long.
